Our MissionMoney sitting idle is money lost. We're fixing that.

Founded in 2023 by Antoine and Paul-Adrien, Spiko gives businesses, non-profits, financial advisers, and fintechs access to institutional-grade cash management, via app or API. We are building the full infrastructure: issuing, operating, and distributing the products ourselves.

Two years after launch, we serve thousands of organizations across Europe and process hundreds of millions of euros in flows every month. Netherlands is one of our priority markets for the next phase of growth.

Our ambition: become the world's leading treasury management infrastructure in a market worth trillions.

We are backed by Index Ventures, the CEO of Revolut, the founder of Kyriba, and the CTO of Wise.

Spiko runs on excellence, transparency, and straight talk.

The role: Finance Operations Associate

We're looking for a Finance Operations Associate to become the engine of our day-to-day corporate finance operations. This is a role built for someone early in their career who wants real ownership fast: you'll run invoicing, payments, and the processes that keep a regulated financial group running smoothly and grow into broader finance responsibilities as Spiko scales into new entities, currencies, and markets.

Reporting to the Finance Manager and working closely with our external accountants, you'll be the person who makes sure invoices go out, suppliers get paid, records reconcile, and nothing slips through the cracks. You'll use AI and automation to make these processes faster and more reliable, not heavier. The path is open to evolve toward financial control, reporting, or FP&A within the firm.

Key ResponsibilitiesOwn invoicing & payments

Manage the billing cycle: issue customer invoices, track receivables and follow up on collections.

Handle accounts payable: process and verify supplier invoices and employee expense reports, and

prepare payment runs.

Run payments: prepare, control and execute payments across multiple entities and currencies (EUR, USD, GBP, stablecoins).

Keep the processes running

Follow the controls: apply and improve clean, safe finance processes and first-line controls.

Flag issues early: help catch errors, prevent fraud and avoid late payments before they happen.

Automate: build simple automations and use AI tools to remove manual, repetitive work.

Support the close & reporting

Contribute to the close: assist with the monthly and annual close in coordination with our external

accountants.

Prepare documentation: gather and organize supporting documents for audits and tax filings.

Support reporting: help produce recurring finance reports and ad-hoc analyses.

Who we’re looking forRequirements (must-haves):

• 1–3 years of experience in a finance, accounting, audit or finance-operations role (internships and apprenticeships count).
• A master degree in business, accounting, finance or a related field.
• Rigorous, detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Comfortable with accounting and payment workflows.
• Comfortable working in an English-speaking environment.
• Curious, proactive and hands-on, with a problem-solving mindset and the ambition to grow.

Nice to have:

• Experience in a fast-growing startup, scale-up or fintech.
• Exposure to multi-entity or multi-currency operations.
• Familiarity with accounting or billing software and automation / AI tools.

What we offer
  • 💰Compensation: Competitive package depending on experience + Stock Options

  • 📍 Offices: in central Paris or London

  • 🏡 Remote work: up to 2 days per week and one full remote week per month

  • 💻 The best tech for your job: latest-generation laptops and industry-leading software

  • 💳 Monthly Budget to cover different perks of choice

  • 🚇 Transport: 50% of public transport pass covered or the Forfait Mobilités Durables (FMD)

  • 👥 Referral Bonus

  • 🎊 Social life: regular afterworks and biannual offsites
