The Finance Manager oversees accounting and financial reporting, manages month-end close processes, supports audits, and enhances financial controls.

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our fast-growing Ennismore London head office team. Reporting into the UK Financial Controller, you will be responsible for all accounting and financial reporting for the Ennismore Ecosystem divisions, as well as supporting the wider Ennismore finance team to deliver its reporting deliverables.
Job DescriptionWhat you’ll do…
- Own the accounting and financial control processes for Ennismore Ecosystem divisions (Dis-Loyalty, AIME Studios, Corporate Sponsorships, AIC.com, Brand.com)
- Post Ecosystem revenue and costs, plus accrued and deferred revenue and adjustments including capex vs opex review
- Work with your Ecosystem operating teams and the UK Accounts Receivable team to review any overdue balances and cash collections
- Prepare certain month end journals relating to the wider UK corporate business (e.g. payroll, month end accruals, external and intercompany loan entries)
- Manage preparation and review of various UK balance sheets including bi-monthly/monthly reconciliations
- Support intercompany reconciliations and recharges and support the FP&A team with month end and ad hoc queries and requests
- Support the wider month end close process for Ennismore’s UK entities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting for both local and wider group stakeholders
- Provide assurance to support the accuracy and completeness of our results in accordance with global directives (IFRS) and local reporting (FRS 102)
- Deliver accurate and timely month end reporting (P&L + Balance Sheet) into OneStream, our consolidation tool
- Provide support for various group and local audits, as well as the testing, implementation and documentation of controls
- Document and deliver improvements on financial controls, processes and procedural policies in collaboration with the operational teams and external parties
Qualifications
What we’re looking for…
- Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (or equivalent)
- Extensive experience of working on the month end close for UK entities
- Extensive experience of statutory audit and controls (testing, implementation, documentation)
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Experience with Sun Systems 6.4 and OneStream is a bonus but not a must have
- Someone who can hit the ground running, with the ability to work independently to achieve our goals
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to multitask and jump in and help where needed
