You’ll be the engine behind our finance function, ensuring everything from payroll and reconciliations to management accounts and tax filings runs smoothly across multiple jurisdictions.

The Role:
This is a hands-on role covering everything from accounting to reporting and compliance. You’ll manage our financial control environment across the UK, Hong Kong, and other entities, working closely with external providers, executive leadership and operational teams. You’ll play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making while ensuring the books are clean, accurate and audit-ready.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Own day-to-day financial control across UK, HK, and SG entities, including reconciliations, reporting and intercompany balances.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and platform balances daily.
  • Post all financial data into QuickBooks and maintain accurate, up-to-date records.
  • Produce daily revenue and chargeback reports and track financial performance vs costs.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable across multiple jurisdictions, including paying invoices, expenses, credits, and reimbursements.
  • Prepare and review monthly management accounts including P&L and balance sheet (UK, HK and SG).
  • Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations (accruals, prepayments and depreciation etc).
  • Monitor and report on payroll movements, post journal entries and coordinate salary, pension and tax payments across jurisdictions.
  • Review and file VAT returns and assist with other indirect tax filings where needed.
  • Support external advisors with year-end accounts, audits, R&D claims and tax queries.
  • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
  • Respond to ad hoc financial information requests from the leadership team and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement improvements to financial systems, controls and reporting.
Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • 4+ years’ experience in a finance or accounting role.
  • Your knowledge of the finance industry and or payment industry is well established.
  • Solid experience with accounting principles, reconciliations and full-cycle financial reporting.
  • Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
  • Proven experience managing payroll, payables/receivables, tax submissions and intercompany accounting.
  • Comfortable working across UK accounting and tax frameworks; exposure to HK (and SG) is a strong plus.
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookups, reporting automation).
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Able to work independently and collaborate closely with leadership
  • Accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) preferred or in progress
  • Experience supporting R&D claims or working with external audit/tax providers
Benefits
  • 25 days annual leave excluding bank holidays
  • Get your birthday off! (and 2 L&D days and 1 volunteering day per year)
  • Access to £1000 per year for Learning and Development.
  • Kody will provide lunch for you every day in our London Bridge office.
  • A collaborative, inclusive environment where your contributions are recognised and valued.
