As a Global Finance Manager, Architectural EMEA/AP, you will lead financial planning and analysis activities, including the annual business strategy reviews and annual planning processes, support strategy development, provide business insights and decision-making support to drive the growth and profitability. You will work closely with the Architectural LT Finance Team, Regional Finance Directors and Analysts to ensure accuracy, alignment, standardization and consistency in reporting and analysis. This role is reporting to the AC EMEA/AP Finance Director and supervises two direct reports. The position is open in any EMEA location.
Key Responsibilities
Lead monthly closing and business review processes, including the compilation, reporting, explanation, and presentation of monthly financial results.
Drive forecasting processes including the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
Be the Finance lead in the AC EMEA IBP (Integrated Business Planning) process and play an active role in driving forecast accuracy improvement.
Collaborate with the SBU Leadership Team on the development of the annual Business Strategy Review and Plan presentation and lead preparation of the financial and presentation materials.
Capture and analyze market, competitive, headcount and economic data to assist in strategy development, new product planning, segment/customer profitability and cost control actions.
Build and maintain interactive economic models that support “What If” scenarios of material/process changes and provide valuable insights through Business case analysis
Drive performance through ad-hoc data analysis and influencing.
Evaluate and lead opportunities to improve working capital and cash flow.
Support the global PPG SAP Central Finance (CFIN) implementation.
Ensure compliance with PPG global accounting policies and internal control standards.
Support management reporting simplification and standardization across the regions, embracing new tools, new ways of working and best practice sharing.
Lead and develop two direct reports.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting, MBA and/or CPA preferred
Demonstrated success in setting direction, influencing and delivering results
Executive presence including strong oral and written communication skills
Strong process discipline and high learning agility
