Support finance change initiatives by mapping and improving end-to-end finance processes, gathering requirements, facilitating workshops, designing operating model improvements, aligning data and reporting with FP&A/MI, coordinating cross-functional delivery, and tracking actions, risks and dependencies to drive scalable finance processes and stronger controls.
We're looking for a commercially minded and analytical Finance Business Analyst to join our Finance Change team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of our Finance function, helping to drive process transformation, strengthen controls, improve data quality and support the development of a scalable, best-practice operating model.
Working closely with teams across Finance, FP&A, MI, IBA, Systems and Technology, you'll be at the heart of a broad change agenda - identifying opportunities for improvement, redesigning processes, supporting key transformation initiatives and ensuring Finance is equipped to support the continued growth of the business.
Key responsibilities
- Working with Finance stakeholders to shape, coordinate and support a variety of Finance change and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mapping and analysing end-to-end Finance processes, identifying inefficiencies, manual effort and opportunities to improve controls and scalability.
- Gathering and documenting business requirements, facilitating workshops and translating complex needs into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Supporting the design and implementation of Finance operating model initiatives, including process ownership, service catalogues and governance frameworks.
- Acting as the bridge between Finance teams and Finance systems teams, ensuring processes and systems evolve in a consistent and scalable way.
- Partnering with FP&A and MI teams to align processes, data flows, reporting structures and KPI frameworks.
- Coordinating activities across Finance, Systems, Technology and third-party suppliers to support the successful delivery of agreed initiatives.
- Tracking actions, risks, dependencies and decisions to maintain momentum and ensure positive business outcomes.
About you
You'll be a naturally curious problem-solver who enjoys understanding how processes work and finding ways to make them better. You'll combine strong analytical thinking with a practical, delivery-focused approach and be comfortable working with stakeholders across multiple functions.
We're looking for someone with:
- Experience in business analysis, process improvement, finance transformation or change delivery.
- Strong process mapping, requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to analyse complex information, identify opportunities and make evidence-based recommendations.
- Experience supporting business or Finance change initiatives from requirements through to implementation and adoption.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with Finance systems, ERP platforms or reporting tools would be advantageous.
- A CIMA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
