This role sits within the Infracapital Finance team and plays a key part in delivering high‑quality financial reporting, controls, and insights. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the business, taking personal accountability for maintaining and enhancing the controls you’re responsible for, supporting strong customer outcomes, and helping reduce operational risk. The role requires sound judgement, the ability to work within established frameworks, and the confidence to interpret procedures to solve a range of financial and operational challenges.

 Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in the  coordination of the annual audit process, working directly with auditors on more complex queries and ensuring key milestones and timetables are met.
  • Review annual partnership tax computations prepared by external tax advisors and resolve any related queries.
  • Prepare monthly bank cash‑flow summaries for designated funds.
  • Calculate semi‑annual waterfalls, drawdowns, and GP fees for main funds and feeder funds, and agree calculations with the fund administrator.
  • Review quarterly valuation statements and manager reports prepared by the administrator, providing clear and constructive feedback.
  • Complete quarterly compliance testing in line with required controls.
  • Respond to investor relations queries and provide accurate, timely information when required.
  • Review VAT and corporation tax computations as needed.
  • Review EBL drawdowns and support finance‑related fundraising workstreams when appropriate.
  • Review investee management accounts and support general financial oversight activities.

Key Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Strong applied knowledge of financial reporting, audit processes, tax concepts, and fund structures.
  • Ability to interpret established frameworks and use discretion to deliver clearly defined outputs.
  • Confidence in reviewing complex financial information and communicating insights clearly.
  • Comfortable guiding more junior colleagues where appropriate.
  • Skilled at identifying improvements to processes based on previous experience and knowledge of similar situations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external advisers.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage recurring cycles (monthly, quarterly, annual).
