The role

The Finance Intern will support the finance and digital support teams with day-to-day operational and administrative tasks. This role offers hands-on experience across invoicing, expense processing and data analysis, providing excellent exposure to the commercial and operational workings of Emperor.

What you’ll be doing in this role

· Review and finalise client invoices for a designated office, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to clients

· Monitor invoicing queries and liaise with internal teams to resolve discrepancies in an organised manner

· Process and review employee expenses, resolving queries from individuals across the business

· Gain exposure to and experience across the finance function to be able to support the wider team where required

· Raise purchase orders for approval by management

 Digital & Administrative Support

· Provide administrative support to the digital function, including but not limited to the monthly billing of support & hosting clients as contracts fall due.

· Process monthly credit card claims for the digital team in line with company policy, ensuring costs are accurately recorded and sufficient supporting documentation is held on file

Other

· Assist with basic financial and operational data analysis

· Support the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required

· Assist on information requests during the group annual audit

 Skills & Experience

· Prior experience working in a finance team preferable, but not essential

· Currently studying towards (or recently completed) a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field

· Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy

· Confident with Excel and basic data analysis

· Well-organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks
