Role: Finance Assistant
Reports into: Management Accountant
Location: London
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent (42.5 hours per week)

What we’re looking for:

We are looking for a driven and organised individual to support the Broadwick Services Finance team as a Finance Assistant. You’ll help ensure our financial operations are accurate, efficient and aligned with internal control standards. Your work will directly support timely reporting and sound financial management across the Broadwick Group. 

What you’ll be responsible for: 

Finance Operations & Reporting

  • Support the Accounts Payable function and related processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain and prepare bank reconciliations.
  • Manage the Purchase Order process and monitor expenditure.
  • Oversee business unit expenses and credit card processing.
  • Help commercial teams with IR35 compliance checks.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and build strong relationships with business stakeholders.
  • Contribute to quarterly VAT return preparation.
  • Assist with intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
  • Maintain fixed asset registers.
  • Support year-end accounts and reporting tasks.
  • Process monthly and fortnightly payroll data.

Process Improvement

  • Support Identify and drive improvements to existing finance processes, including automation opportunities.
  • Support the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.

Team

  • Deliver work that supports our team culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Communicating your training needs and actively participating in your own development in line with the line manager’s expectations.
  • Creating a work environment that aligns with Broadwick values and principles.

Other

  • Carrying out ad hoc duties when required to.
You’ll need to have:
  • Strong written and verbal communication; able to adapt messaging for different audiences.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • A keen sense of ownership and accountability for your work.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Nice to haves:
  • Progressing toward or seeking to commence an accounting qualification.
  • Interest in the music, arts or entertainment industries.
  • Willingness to develop a deeper financial understanding of the business.
