Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role will primarily be responsible for the over-sight, collection, reporting and escalation of Wholesale debts. The role will report into International & Wholesale Finance Manager and work closely with the Cash Receipts team, the Wholesale team and the management accounts team.


Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Customer account administration tasks including sending invoices to customers and raising credit notes for Wholesale customers.
  • Work alongside the Wholesale Management Accountant to review daily bank receipt journals prepared by the Cash Receipts Team.
  • To deal with payment queries and client overpayments in an accurate and timely manner
  • Apply for credit cover and report aged balances to credit insurers at relevant periods
  • Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations for Wholesale customer balances.
  • Preparation of month end journals for the Wholesale business
  • Assist with the year end statutory audit
  • Various other ad-hoc duties within the finance department

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:


  • Minimum of 18 months credit control/management accounts experience, ideally within a fast paced retail/branded wholesale environment
  • A good level of MS Excel and Outlook skills
  • The ability to multitask, maintain focus under pressure and ensure accuracy and attention to detail at all times
  • Good written communication skills given you will be the face of KG to customers.
  • Styleman and Sun Ledger systems experience (desired, but not essential)
