Perform a wide variety of Finance, Accounting and administrative tasks to support EXSIF.
Functional Responsibilities
- Maintaining the sales ledger, producing month-end billing and client statements.
- Manage European billing and invoicing to clients.
- Manage Accounts Receivable ensuring timely recovery of payments. Contacting clients to collect on unpaid invoices or receive payment advice and ensuring cash receipts are correctly allocated.
- Manage the company vendor vetting / new supplier process for fraud prevention (TRS-100 process).
- Process invoices to vendors
- Support with credit assessments for new and existing clients, working closely with Sales Managers and utilising credit catalyst to identify problem accounts before payment issues occur.
- Maintain close working relationship and provide monthly AR and collections reporting deliverable to EXSIF HQ Senior Accountant
- Distribute the monthly AR report
Core competencies
- Proven working experience in finance or accounting administration roles
- Confident to engage with customers to recover outstanding payments and resolve any disputes or queries.
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office, Excel, accounting software and databases
- Ability to manipulate and organise large amounts of data
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to clearly communicate with internal / external customers and vendors.
- AAT or equivalent qualifications
