  • Sales Process Optimisation: Develop and implement standardised field sales processes, including MBR (Monthly Business Review) rollout and support for Hub Level Reviews in each geography. Define the sales hiring funnel and collaborate with Analytics to create the necessary reporting and dashboards to track key metrics and drive continuous improvement.
  • Sales Toolkit Development: Collaborate with the Sales Enablement team to create market-specific field sales toolkits, encompassing compelling materials, content, sales pitches, and competitive displacement proposals
  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Conduct merchant audits to gain deep insights into merchant needs and preferences. Perform competitive benchmarking and develop effective counter-strategies.
  • Customer Success Collaboration: Partner with the Customer Success team to ensure seamless onboarding of new merchants and drive retention of existing customers.
  • Contract Negotiation & Legal Partnership: Partner with Legal to finalise contract structures for self-employed representatives and performance-driven contracts for FTEs in all markets.

You’ll be great for this role if

  • You have related experience within a sales environment or a consulting background with exposure to fast sales cycles
  • Experience building, leading, and navigating through change in large sales organisations (100+)
  • SME-related industries, such as payments, hospitality, travel, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • You thrive in entrepreneurial environments with ambitious goals and ambiguous processes
  • You have strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with sales and cross-functional teams

Why you should join SumUp

  • Competitive salary package and virtual stock option programme
  • You’ll receive a budget for your individual development, attending conferences and external training.
