Field‑based, high‑impact technical & commercial role

We’re looking for an experienced F&B Sector Specialist to join our KBS (Knowledge-Based Services) North team and play a pivotal role in delivering Diversey’s full Food & Beverage value proposition across the region. This is a strategic, customer‑facing role where technical expertise meets commercial impact.

You’ll act as a trusted technical partner to customers, drive innovation, lead complex projects, and support sales teams with deep application knowledge. Your work will directly influence operational efficiency, food safety, and commercial growth across Benelux, UKI, and Scandinavia — with a primary focus on your home country.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and execute technological projects at GSA, regional, and local customers, including audits, migrations, commissioning, and TCO/Value Advantage analysis.
  • Support regional strategy by aligning with local sales management and driving commercial outcomes.
  • Introduce and manage innovations, product swaps, and new technologies to grow NPI and NTW sales.
  • Deliver technical training to customers, TAMs, and sales teams to strengthen capability and retention.
  • Act as the technical authority for Sales, Engineering, and Laboratory teams, providing expert guidance.
  • Solve high‑pressure production issues with agility, authority, and a deep understanding of F&B processes.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis, customer segmentation, and white‑spot identification.
  • Build relationships with authorities, control bodies, and industry associations to support regulatory alignment.
  • Execute the KBS catalogue to deliver consistent, differentiated Knowledge‑Based Solutions.

What You Bring

  • Degree in chemistry, chemical processing, food processing, microbiology, or similar (University of Applied Sciences / Professional Bachelor).
  • Proven experience in the Food & Beverage industry with strong technical credibility.
  • Demonstrated project management capability in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.
  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to understand and optimise customer processes.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels — from operators to site management and procurement.
  • High resilience, flexibility, and readiness to work in demanding production environments (hot/cold, humidity, noise, chemicals).
  • Fluent English; French or Dutch is an advantage.
  • Digital proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and operate with professional authority.

What Success Looks Like

  • You are the go‑to technical expert for customers and internal teams.
  • You drive measurable commercial value through innovation, audits, and project execution.
  • You elevate the technical capability of the regional sales organisation.
  • You build strong cross‑functional relationships and influence strategic decisions.
  • You thrive in a dynamic, travel‑heavy role with high autonomy and high impact.
