    Job Description

    As an Experimentation Specialist within the Experimentation Centre of Excellence, you will support the technical delivery and safe use of experimentation tooling across the business. Reporting to the Senior Experimentation Manager, this role focuses on helping teams implement experimentation correctly, maintain data quality, and triage technical considerations.

    This is a support and enablement role, not a platform ownership or architectural authority position. It is designed for someone developing deeper technical expertise in experimentation within a structured, supported environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Act as an advocate for experimentation at Frasers Group, supporting the Senior Experimentation Manager in building safe and effective experimentation practices.
    • Support teams using experimentation platforms (e.g. Optimizely) by helping them follow agreed setup patterns, permissions, and usage guidelines.
    • Provide guidance on client-side and server-side experimentation concepts, feature flags, and basic implementation considerations.
    • Assist teams in understanding and applying recommended SDK usage patterns, flagging complex or high-risk scenarios where appropriate.
    • Support the use of agreed experimentation events, metrics, and exposure logging, working with Analytics and Data teams to validate implementations.
    • Help identify common tracking, instrumentation, or configuration issues and support troubleshooting alongside relevant teams.
    • Assist with experiment readiness checks by reviewing tracking setup, audience configuration, and basic performance considerations.
    • Work closely with Engineering, Analytics, and Platform teams to build shared understanding of experimentation tooling and data flows.
    • Contribute to documentation, guidance, and enablement materials to help teams self-serve more effectively.

    Qualifications

    • Experience building experiments with using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, using relevant Experimentation software (such as Optimizely, AB Tasty, Monetate, Dynamic Yield).
    • Basic understanding of client-side and server-side experimentation concepts, A/B testing, and feature flags.
    • Interest in data quality, instrumentation, and how experimentation data is collected and analysed.
    • Ability to identify issues, ask the right technical questions, and escalate appropriately.
    • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
    • Good communication skills and confidence working with cross-functional teams.
    • Experience in eCommerce or digital product environments is desirable.
    • Valid working rights for the EMEA countries.
