Production sits within the creative department whom develop creative platforms, ideas and integrated programs, built from an earned media standpoint. Edelman demands integration with specialists in Creative, Content, Social, Influencer, Creative Technology, Production and Design It is the driver for transformational and award-worthy creative work in this business. 

 

We are looking to appoint an Experiential & Content Producer who will play a key role in the production team, to partner with creatives, account leads and clients. As Producer, you will be largely but not solely responsible for experiential and content creation work from concept through to final delivery.   

 

You will  work on the full cycle of  production from concept generation to delivery or activation. You will part of the process to resource the right talent internally and externally you will engage and manage production partners to the high standard we expect. to produce the best possible output, creating inspiring environments in which they can do their best work. You will be key in the success the work produced, steering the  production from beginning to completion. 

 

Your Producer responsibilities will tackle the various phases of production demonstrating your expertise across experiential, events, graphics & animation, live action, editing & post-production.  

 

  • Proven experience producing experiential, events and filmed content creation, gained from a breadth of in-house production and/or agency roles.  

  • You will have a strong background in producing corporate work, and dealing with internal Client Services teams, Creatives, and external Brand Clients 

  • Experience in taking the lead in a project and motivating a team. 

  • Solid understanding of production and post-production processes and methodology, including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risks, develop detailed work plans and timings 

  • Confident is providing the best production approach/solutions. 

  • Ability to identify IP risks and work with Business Affairs on all contracting requirements 

  • Ability to put a delivery team together for a production, if required.   

  • Ability to work on multiple workstreams and complex projects and as required. 

  • Proven troubleshooter and risk mitigation.  

  • Excellent negotiation, organisational and administration skills. 

  • Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.  

  • Demonstrable ability to successfully and practically resolve situations that are broadly defined, complex and diverse.  

  • Ability to perform in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. 

  • Knowledge and experience of working in an agency environment, understanding the needs and managing expectations of key stakeholders. 

 

 

Specific job requirements  

 

Budgeting 

  • Inputting into cost estimates and providing ball parks in early stages of idea generation as well as more detailed budgets - liaising with specialist suppliers if necessary in order to sense-check costs. 

  • Support client teams and budget negotiating with suppliers and clients. Provide sound reasoning on all client budget lines.  

  • Develop and maintain excellent inter-company and client relationships around driving cost efficiencies 

  • Ability to explain chosen production route to the business and clients 

 

Working Practise 

  • Adhere to internal process and disciplines  

  • Ensure operational excellence and strive for constant improvement in our production process. 

  • Produce a range of jobs varying in size and budget. 

  • Ensure quality is consistent and to the best of your ability across all projects. 

  • Deliver work on time and within budget. 

  • Ensure all projects are closed out/wrapped and a project collect is complete.  

 

Operational 

 

  • Liaise closely with Business Affairs throughout the course of a production, and ensure that each client scope of work is executed with your production input. 

  • Manage changes in project scope, communicate any consequential budget alterations, and ensure information is captured in a client scope of work addendum. 

  • Produce timing plans with key milestones and internal wips built in. 

  • Safeguard profitibilty on all projects both in house and those being externally produced. 

  • Interface and build strong relationships with internal Creative, Strategic, Planning, Business Affairs, and Digital teams. 

  • Work with the internal Resourcing team in terms of casting and booking internal resources and forecasting future resource requirements. 

 

External  

  • Indentify, source and manage all 3rd party vendors and partners (freelance/third-party supplier). 

  • Oversee all third-party costs and contracts - ensuring you are engaging with Business Affairs throughout this process and in a timely manner 

  • Develop, grow and maintain a reliable network of talented, cost effective and specialist industry contacts. 

  • Lead all negotiations, contracts and legal requirements with all third party suppliers, and be competent in negotiating the best deals and outcomes for our clients. 

  • Manage all third partie suppliers throughout the course of productions – from sourcing, briefing and pitching through to production delivery and reporting.
