As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will develop the legal intelligence platform using Web technologies and Machine Learning, working closely with product teams to ensure optimal user experiences and improving internal processes.

The Context
We are looking for an experienced Senior Fullstack Engineer to help us build the first legal intelligence platform.
You will join a high-impact squad and play a key role in scaling the entire Engineering organization at Doctrine.
This position involves cross-functional missions: across squads, across countries, and across multiple products (search engine, chatbot, recommendations, and more). In short, a highly stimulating scope.
Our Web stack is based on NodeJS, NestJS, React, and NextJS.

No prior experience in the legal field is required. However, you should be motivated to dive into and develop expertise in understanding legal documents.
Missions 🛠
- Work closely with product designers and product managers to design the best possible user experiences.
- Build reusable components used across all our product teams.
- Develop products at the intersection of Web technologies and Machine Learning.
- Help disseminate our internal best practices and actively contribute to our Engineering strategy.
Ideal Profil 👀
- Strong command of TypeScript (Node and React).
- Knowledge of Python is a plus.
- Strong focus on quality: best practices, testing, CI/CD, reliability and availability.
- Comfortable working in an agile environment, with a strong product and UX mindset.
- Enjoys sharing knowledge, collaborating, and giving constructive feedback.
- Proactive and able to partner with all teams, acting as a driver of positive change.

- Like all engineers at Doctrine, you will join one of our cross-functional chapters — in this case, the Web chapter. Within this chapter, you will contribute to internal projects aimed at improving our processes and shaping our long-term vision. The chapter meets every week to:
- Share knowledge: keep track of the state of the art, review scientific papers, continuous improvement, best practices, etc.
- Propose improvements: experiment with new tools, suggest new processes to implement.
- You will also take part in recruitment: all individual contributors meet candidates through technical assessments or interviews.
