A Brief Overview
This position serves as a key member of the Global Rewards team by participating in the development, implementation, and administration of compensation, benefit and wellness programs across the region and globe.
This role is primarily a senior-level individual contributor and executes project and data analysis related work with a focus on EMEA markets and will also contribute and sometimes lead global projects as they relate to total rewards programs (salary and incentive plans, performance management, company paid and voluntary benefits, wellness programs, savings and pension plans, executive compensation, etc).
What you will do
- Leads the review, development and implementation of salary, incentive, recognition, benefit and wellness programs to ensure overall market competitiveness within region and globally. Develops detailed analysis and recommends plan revision as well as new plans which are consistent with total reward trends and company objectives.
- Ensures guidance of the internal approval matrix and keep up-to-date of changes in local regulations for compensation and benefits in each of the EMEA markets.
- Conducts detailed analysis of workforce, compensation and financial data as it relates to human capital to identify trends and propose solutions to strategic business needs.
- Conducts job analysis and review requests for new or revised jobs including competitive analysis of offers.
- Partners with Regional HR and Country HR regarding the selection of benefit vendors and wellness service providers, including negotiation of services and ongoing review of services to ensure company philosophy is consistent. Monitors administrative costs of benefit programs and recommends cost management strategies including alternative methods for administration and funding. Prepares budgetary recommendations and assists in the monitoring, verifying and reconciling of budgeted funds.
- Reviews and advises on senior hire compensation across the region working closely with the Regional Head of HR.
- Analyzes and advises on cross border relocations to ensure competitiveness of compensation and tax impact to individuals on moves.
- As this role has both regional and global responsibilities, will be required to work evenings and early mornings to participate in global meetings.
- Ensures effective relationships with compensation and benefit consultants, vendors and legal counsel.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Business, Economics, Statistics or related with ideally 8+ years of global compensation and benefits, finance or related analyst experience that involve implementation and program / project management as well as use of statistical analysis and modeling.
- Experience of employment and income tax laws as well as Collective Bargaining Agreements for the different countries in EMEA, regulations and operating guidelines for company locations noted above.
- Knowledge of global or regional payroll practices of employee benefits policies, procedures and reporting requirements helpful.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills and ability to develop models to analyze and forecast compensation and benefits expenses using Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills and HRIS platforms and reporting tools. Ability to build advanced charts and data models and excellent financial analytical skills.
- Strong presentation and written skills with a strong interest in human resource management, working across international markets.
- Thorough understanding of macroeconomics trends regionally and globally. (GDP, unemployment rates, price indices national income, output, consumption, unemployment, inflation, savings, investment, international trade and finance)
- Project Management Experience.
- Knowledge of the "Workday" HRIS platform is a plus
