Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK) are recruiting for a permanent Executive Assistant to support our Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO). This is a pivotal role where you’ll act as a trusted partner, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations and enabling senior leaders to perform at their best.
Working at the heart of the business, you will manage competing priorities, coordinate key activities, act as a central point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, and manage two members of the EA/PA team to ensure effective team coordination.
Key Responsibilities include:
Provide high-level executive support to the CUO and associated teams
Act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders
Manage complex diaries, inboxes, and meeting schedules
Coordinate travel arrangements and produce detailed itineraries
Prepare presentations, documentation, and board materials
Ensure deadlines are met for board papers and key deliverables
Arrange meetings, collate materials, and take minutes where required
Handle expenses, correspondence, and general administrative tasks
Maintain accurate records, including absences and filing systems
Provide cover for other Executive/Personal Assistants when needed
About You
Essential
You’ll be a confident and discreet professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working at a senior level.
Strong experience in an Executive Assistant or senior PA role
Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Proven experience managing multiple complex diaries
Exceptional organisational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
High level of confidentiality and professionalism
Desirable
Experience supporting Board-level executives
Background in insurance or financial services
Line management experience
Minute-taking experience
Fast and accurate typing skills (65+ wpm)
