Job DescriptionThe EA will report directly to the Group Financial Controller and will be primarily responsible for supporting the Group Financial Controller, the Group Audit Director and the Head of Taxation. The EA will additionally support the day to day running of the Finance leadership function, providing comprehensive, confidential and professional administrative and operational support to the Finance Leadership Team (FLT).
- Manage the diaries and commitments of those who you will support, liaising with them, other EAs and personnel across the global business and its partners to support their business needs and control unsolicited requests.
- Set up conference calls, video conference calls, meetings, and events as required and circulate details to attendees.
- Demonstrate strong commercial and governance awareness when managing complex FLT diaries. Apply independent judgement to prioritise competing demands, protect Board and reporting commitments and critical deadlines.
- Draft and produce letters, reports, presentations, and emails using templates or developing original content as required.
- Work to ensure that material for meetings, such as meeting packs, are created and distributed in a timely manner to all designated parties.
- Process expense claims for the FLT in a timely manner, using the online expenses system.
- Provide a single point of contact for information and data requests.
- Arrange all relevant travel and accommodation via the company travel system.
- Arrange meeting facilities for the FLT either within Entain offices across different locations or using external providers.
- Plan, organise and attend functions and conferences arranged by the FLT, working with third-party providers to ensure the facilities provided are as requested.
- Undertake ad hoc duties for members of the FLT as and when required.
- Work with the HR department in managing recruitment and relocation for all new FLT hires, including residency arrangements and induction, ensuring a smooth transition and onboarding process.
- Provide confidential administrative support to the whistleblowing process, including scheduling investigation meetings and maintaining accurate case records.
- Manage whistleblowing-related promotional content on internal platforms (e.g. Entain.me), coordinate translation requests, and assist in preparing presentations and first drafts of internal data reports.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in executive support or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in office software and travel arrangements.
- Experience in mentoring or training junior staff.
