About OLIX

AI is growing faster than any technology in history and the explosion in demand has created a massive infrastructure gap; we can no longer build chips or power stations fast enough to keep up. The industry is still leaning on a ten-year-old hardware blueprint that has reached its limit. A new paradigm that is faster and more efficient will be the biggest economic opportunity of the next century and create the most important company of the next decade. The OLIX Decode Accelerator 1 (DX-1) is the first accelerator architected specifically for decode. Rack-scale co-design of logic, data movement, packaging, optics and interconnect enables a step change in system level performance.

The Role

OLIX has 130 people with plans to scale to 250 by the end of the year. We’re at an inflection point, moving from R&D into scaled delivery, and the executive team needs to move faster and smarter. We’re hiring an Executive Assistant to support our COO, CFO and President. You'll report directly to the COO and be the glue that helps three senior leaders stay focused, prepared and operating at their best.

Responsibilities
  • Own and optimise the calendars of the COO, CFO and President with a strategic lens, ensuring their time maps to their priorities and protecting time for focused work

  • Question meeting necessity proactively. Ensure meetings are in the right format, ask whether it could be a Slack message or email instead, and whether the executives actually need to be in the room

  • Act as a gatekeeper across inboxes and calendars, triaging what genuinely needs executive attention

  • Coordinate travel, meeting logistics, and offsites for the COO, CFO and President

  • Prepare briefing materials, agendas, and follow-ups so leaders walk into every meeting ready

  • Build trusted working relationships across the leadership team, acting as a key point of contact on their behalf

  • Take on more responsibility as the company and the role grow — this is a role that will evolve

Skills & Experience
  • Self-starter with high agency and autonomy; comfortable operating with limited guidance and figuring things out

  • Ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively across all levels of an organisation.

  • Comfortable working at pace and navigating ambiguity with a pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Genuinely excited by OLIX and our culture, wanting to grow a career here rather than take a job

  • Comfortable with an on-ramp period — we expect learning on the job and will invest in your development

  • Motivation and attitude matter more to us than years of experience — the right candidate could be early in their career or an established EA

Nice to have
  • C-suite or founder support, startup environment preferred — but not a hard requirement if you have the right attributes

Compensation & Equity
  • Competitive Salary: Commensurate with your experience, skills, and location

  • Equity & Ownership: Meaningful stock options. You’re not just joining the mission; you’re owning a piece of it

  • Proximity Bonus: We value your time. To minimise your commute and maximise your life, we offer an annual Living-Local Bonus if your residence is within 20 minutes of the office

  • Retirement Benefits: Employer-contributed retirement plans to help you build long-term financial security

Due to U.S. export control regulations, candidates’ eligibility to work at OLIX depends on their most recent citizenship or permanent residency status. We are generally unable to consider applicants whose most recent citizenship or permanent residence is in certain restricted countries (currently including Iran, North Korea, Syria, Cuba, Russia, Belarus, China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Venezuela). Applicants who have subsequently obtained citizenship or permanent residency in another country not subject to these restrictions may still be eligible.
