📍London | 💰£50,000 - £60,000 (dependent on experience) + Benefits  

We are looking for a seasoned Executive Assistant to support our Chief Product Officer, and VP of Product. This will be a fast-paced role requiring tight diary management and great organisation skills, but we are looking for someone who is also proactive and shows initiative. This role will involve working closely with the Chief of Staff to the CPO as a part of the CPO Office, partnering with them to enable and support the best output from the CPO and the Product discipline at Monzo.  

This is the ideal role for an EA who is highly proactive, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and excited by the opportunity to operate across a broad and fast-moving remit with a high degree of ownership and autonomy. 

🚩Given the agility required for this particular role, EA experience within a start-up or scale-up tech environment would be a huge advantage.

About the Team

Joining an Executive Assistant team of 16, you will collaborate with our existing EAs to keep Monzo running, and to continue to raise the bar on what great support looks like. We have a strong EA ‘community’ at Monzo where you will benefit from supportive peers, sharing EA best-practice, and helping to push each other forward. We generally work 1:2 / 1:3 depending on the workload associated with the Executive

🔑 You’ll play a key role by... 

  • Managing time and priorities -  Own complex, fast-moving diaries. Anticipate conflicts, make trade-offs, and keep your leaders focused on high-impact work.
  • Running effective meetings - You’ll help your leaders run great meetings. You will prepare agendas and materials, capture decisions, and ensure follow-through.
  • Staying close to what matters - You’ll stay close to what’s going on across your leaders’ world. You will manage inboxes, filter noise, and surface key information quickly.Building strong relationships - You’ll build strong relationships across your leaders’ teams and the wider business, understanding priorities, staying connected, and helping keep people engaged and aligned.
  • Owning logistics end to end - You’ll take ownership of the operational details that keep things running smoothly. You will manage travel, scheduling, offsites, and key even , making it all feel seamless and low effort for everyone involved.
  • Working as one CPO Office - You’ll work closely with your Chief of Staff and People Partner as part of a collaborative CPO Office, sharing context, supporting each other, and helping things run smoothly across Product. 
  • Getting involved beyond your role - While your main focus will be supporting your leader(s), you’ll also have the chance to get involved in wider projects and improvements across Monzo, bringing ideas, trying new things, and helping us work better.
  • Leading and driving high-impact work - You’ll confidently lead and coordinate high impact projects and initiatives across teams, helping drive momentum, unblock progress, and ensure excellent execution in a fast paced environment.

🤩 We’d love to hear from you if…

  • EA experience: You have significant experience as an Executive Assistant, ideally for C-suite level, leaders in a fast-paced, high performance environment.
  • Organisation: You’re highly organised and proactive, able to manage multiple priorities, stay ahead, and bring structure to ambiguity.
  • Slack: You’re confident, and experience in using Slack, which is our main internal communication tool.
  • Communication: You communicate clearly and adapt your style to different audiences.
  • Stakeholder management: You build strong, effective relationships across teams and with senior stakeholders.
  • Teamwork & feedback: You work well as part of a team, collaborate openly, and take on feedback to improve.
  • Judgement & integrity: You exercise sound judgement, handle sensitive information with discretion, and operate with integrity.
  • Quality & detail: You produce high-quality work with strong attention to detail.
  • Process improvement: You look for ways to improve processes, drive efficiency, and help teams work more effectively.
  • Tools: You’re comfortable using Google Workspace (or similar tools).
