Lead development of data and AI products for Internal Audit: define product roadmap, design data-driven test strategies, build and deploy scalable AI/automation solutions, establish dataset monitoring controls, drive technology adoption, and train audit teams to deliver continuous, intelligent assurance across the business.

Lead credit strategy for credit card products by designing underwriting and limit approaches, analysing portfolio performance and profitability, building NPV and forecasting models, developing segmentation, running deep-dive analyses, partnering with Product/Engineering/Data teams, and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders while ensuring regulatory and governance alignment.

Own preparation, analysis and submission of capital and liquidity regulatory reports. Ensure compliance, high data quality and controls, build dashboards, investigate data issues, automate reporting processes, and partner with internal teams on regulatory and product changes.

Lead technical development and production deployment of ML models for search, personalization, ranking, and recommendations. Build scalable, explainable ML solutions, own end-to-end impact, collaborate with backend and product teams, and iterate on experiments using cloud-native data at scale.

Lead technical ML efforts to detect and prevent financial crime by designing, developing and shipping production deep learning, graph and sequence models. Provide IC technical leadership, mentor peers, work with product, engineering and MLOps to iterate models on a cloud-native platform, and measure production impact while minimising false positives and operational costs.

Lead the planning and delivery of prudential regulatory deliverables (ICAAP, recovery planning, RAF), support capital planning, ALCO reporting and KRI maintenance, assess prudential regulatory change, embed recovery/resolution processes, manage projects to implement regulatory requirements, lead and develop a high-performing Financial Risk team, and communicate outcomes to senior stakeholders across the bank.

Lead and develop a team of ML specialists to deliver production ML systems for fraud and financial crime. Set priorities, ensure model lifecycle practices (development, deployment, monitoring, governance), partner with Product, Risk, Engineering and Data, and raise standards for performance, explainability, reproducibility and observability while building an inclusive high-performing team.

Own day-to-day delivery of people governance and accountability frameworks (SMCR, IAF/SEAR), translate regulatory requirements into practical processes, drive continuous improvement, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, support audits and regulatory engagement, and use data to identify risks and prioritise improvements.

Lead strategy to identify, secure and scale strategic B2B and B2C partnerships that enhance Monzo’s core banking products. Negotiate commercial contracts, track performance with data-driven insights, work cross-functionally to implement and optimise partnerships, and manage relationships end-to-end to drive customer and commercial impact.

Lead portfolio management for a growing unsecured lending product (Flex), building forecasting and monitoring frameworks, risk-based pricing, lifecycle engagement and loss-mitigation strategies. Manage and grow a team of credit analysts, collaborate across product squads, and partner with Legal, Compliance and 2nd Line Risk to scale the portfolio safely while driving commercial outcomes.

Lead ML strategy and delivery for Workforce Management: forecasting, routing, assignment, escalation and time-to-completion prediction. Build, ship and maintain production ML systems, coach and grow a team of ML scientists, work cross-functionally to turn operational problems into pragmatic ML solutions, and improve customer and operational outcomes.

Lead development of AI-first, tech-led tooling to automate and streamline fincrime investigations. Improve investigator workflows, scale automation, enhance forecasting and workforce planning, and drive cultural/process improvements. Lead cross-functional squads across risk, engineering, data/ML, and operations to deliver measurable efficiency and decision-quality gains while maintaining strong customer experience.
