Leads product design for Monzo’s Payments business area, setting design strategy and vision, partnering with Product and Engineering leadership, shaping roadmaps, and driving high-quality execution. Builds and develops a high-performing design team, coaches designers, raises design quality, strengthens collaboration and craft, and expands design’s influence across the organisation and customer experience.

Review and approve Monzo’s financial promotions and product claims for compliance with FCA and ASA requirements. Improve approval processes, substantiate marketing claims, create training materials for product launches, and monitor regulatory developments. The role partners with Marketing and Product teams to support customer growth while protecting the company’s brand and reputation.

Leads Monzo’s Investments and Pensions business, driving customer and commercial growth, investment proposition strategy, pricing, asset selection, due diligence, and European expansion. Builds business cases, partners cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance, and external partners, and influences senior stakeholders. Manages and coaches a high-performing team while translating wealth strategy into measurable customer and business outcomes within a regulated environment.
