Executive Assistant & Office Manager

Location: Aldgate, London (Hybrid, 3 days per week onsite)

Salary: £45,000-£55,000

Eligibility: UK-based candidates only. Must be able to pass BPSS checks.

The role

Cloudscaler is growing fast. We are 100 people, moving quickly, and building toward something considerably larger. As we scale, the demands on our leadership team grow with us, and this role exists to make sure they can operate at their best.

This is primarily an Executive Assistant role. You will be the right hand to our CEO, COO, CTO, CRO, and CPO: managing competing priorities, protecting their time, and making sure the things that need to happen do happen. You will also own the day-to-day running of our London office, coordinating company events and leadership away days, and keeping the environment in which our people work running smoothly.

No two days will look the same as we scale at pace.

What you'll be doing
  • Supporting the leadership team across diary management, travel, logistics, and correspondence, anticipating needs rather than waiting to be asked.

  • Acting as a trusted right hand to the CEO, picking up tasks and owning them through to completion.

  • Planning and running Cloudscaler's Company Days, our quarterly all-hands meetings, and leadership away days, from venue sourcing and catering through to communications and on-the-day coordination.

  • Owning the day-to-day running of our Aldgate office: supplies, facilities, supplier relationships, and making sure the space is always somewhere people want to be.

  • Supporting the recruitment team with interview scheduling and candidate logistics.

  • Picking up coordination tasks across teams as needed, ensuring nothing falls through the gaps.

What we're looking for
  • Proven experience in an Executive Assistant, Chief of Staff, or Senior Office Manager role, ideally in a fast-moving technology or professional services business.

  • Someone who manages competing priorities without dropping the ball and who does not need perfect information to make sensible decisions.

  • Confident dealing with senior stakeholders and external contacts: warm, professional, and discreet when it matters.

  • Comfortable with Microsoft 365 and happy to learn new tools quickly.

  • A self-starter who sees what needs doing and follows it through.

  • Bonus points for experience coordinating large-scale internal events or a background in a scaling business of 50 to 200+ people.

Who thrives here

This role suits someone who takes genuine pride in enabling others to do their best work. You are energised by variety, comfortable in an organisation that is still being built, and the kind of person others rely on without needing the spotlight.

Our values are mastery, integrity, and community. We take our work seriously, we are straight with each other, and we invest in the people around us.

Benefits
  • 25 days' annual leave, plus 5 additional days for training or volunteering

  • Option to buy up to 5 additional days' annual leave

  • Public holiday opt-out scheme: work on bank holidays and take the time off when it suits you

  • Life Assurance

  • Long Term Disability cover

  • Employee Assist Programme, including legal and counselling helpline

  • Health, Mental Health, Wellbeing, Financial and Legal support

  • 24/7 GP access

  • Individual training and development plans, with online training costs covered

  • Travel and accommodation expensed in line with our expenses policy

  • Recruitment referral scheme

  • Cycle to Work Scheme

  • Dog-friendly offices
