Events Marketing Manager
Location: London, UK (Hybrid - Tuesday to Thursday in the office)
Department: Marketing
Reporting to: Head of Marketing
ABOUT NEXGEN CLOUD:NexGen Cloud is the company behind Hyperstack, a full-stack AI cloud serving tens of thousands of customers from AI researchers to enterprises running the world's most compute-intensive workloads. We deliver on-demand and private GPU infrastructure to teams who treat performance as a requirement, not a feature.
We're a tight-knit, fast-moving team working at the cutting edge of AI cloud infrastructure. We practice what we preach, equipping our people with AI at every level so we can solve harder problems, ship faster, and keep raising the bar for what enterprise GPU infrastructure looks like.
THE ROLE: Events Marketing ManagerThis role exists because events are one of the most direct levers Hyperstack has for generating qualified pipeline and building brand authority in the AI infrastructure space. As we scale go-to-market across EMEA and beyond, we need a dedicated owner who treats every event — whether we're running it or attending it — as a Hyperstack event. You'll have full ownership of the events and community marketing function: strategy, planning, execution, lead lifecycle, and pipeline reporting.
This is a role for someone who doesn't just want to run stands. You're creative, commercially grounded, and highly organised — and you understand that great events are measured by the pipeline they generate, the revenue they influence, and the customer relationships they build.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:Rather than a long checklist, here's what success in this role looks like:
- Own the annual Hyperstack events calendar — identifying where target customers will be, prioritising by pipeline opportunity, and ensuring every commitment has a clear commercial rationale before budget is spent
- Take end-to-end ownership of event execution from ideation to post-event reporting — logistics, venue, booth build, branding, merchandise, travel, and on-site coordination
- Own the full lead lifecycle around every event: pre-event outreach, on-site capture, structured post-event follow-up sequences, and clean handoff to Sales
- Build and run community and side events alongside major industry conferences — panels, customer roundtables, partner dinners, and hosted meetups that extend reach and deepen relationships
- Plan and deliver hospitality events for current customers, working closely with Sales and Account Management to identify the right moments and the right people
- Liaise with the Partnerships team to identify and execute co-marketing and co-exhibiting opportunities — joint activations that are well-planned, dual-branded, and commercially impactful
- Report on event performance with pipeline as the primary metric — leads generated, pipeline created, pipeline influenced, meetings booked, and ROI per event
We're more interested in how you think and work than in a perfect CV. You'll likely bring a combination of the following:
Essential- 5+ years in events and/or community marketing, ideally within AI, cloud, or the wider tech sector
- Proven track record owning end-to-end event delivery across a variety of formats — from large-scale exhibitions to hosted customer experiences
- Strong commercial mindset with a clear understanding of how events generate pipeline — you know how to measure it, report on it, and use the data to optimise future spend
- Experience managing pre- and post-event lead nurture campaigns with structured Sales handoffs
- Exceptional organisational ability — able to run multiple events, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously without dropping anything
- A genuine creative eye for event design, brand presence, merchandise, and experiential moments
- Experience at major AI/tech industry events — SuperComputing, GTC, Raise Summit, or similar
- Background in community events, meetups, or building engaged audiences within a technical or AI-adjacent space
- Experience in co-marketing or partner events, particularly with large technology vendors
- Hospitality and VIP customer event programme management
- Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM for lead tracking and campaign sequencing
- Competitive salary and annual discretionary bonus scheme
- Employee wellbeing benefits
- 25 days of holiday, plus public holidays
- Flexible working arrangements (remote or hybrid, depending on role and location)
- Real ownership and autonomy, with the trust to take initiative and experiment
- The opportunity to make a visible, meaningful impact as we scale
- Clear career progression and growth opportunities in a fast-growing company
- A collaborative, international culture built on trust, transparency, and ownership
- The chance to help shape NexGen Cloud's team, culture, and future alongside ambitious, mission-driven colleagues
