About the Role:

WeWork is looking for a talented Manager, Marketing Events (EMEA & APAC) to join the Global Marketing team, based in London. This role will focus on planning, executing, and evaluating a diverse range of field marketing programs and marketing events across WeWork’s EMEA & APAC portfolios of buildings to promote the WeWork brand and generate sales pipeline growth. 

The role requires a detail-oriented strategic thinker with strong project management skills, an understanding of the full event, campaign, and field marketing lifecycle, and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams. The Manager, Events (EMEA & APAC) will develop comprehensive regional event and field marketing strategies, manage budgets, and be responsible for logistics to ensure flawless execution of event and partner opportunities. This includes developing and executing scalable event frameworks, supporting regional sales teams with high-impact field marketing initiatives, potential new member and existing member activations, high-profile thought leadership events, consumer, broker and CRE industry events, and strategic partnerships. 

This role will also play an important role in connecting marketing programs to revenue outcomes, ensuring that events and partnerships contribute to pipeline development and measurable business impact. 

The successful candidate will be collaborative, process and data driven, have strong project management, communication and negotiation skills, and a track record of bringing events, partnerships, and field marketing programs from concept through execution and performance measurement.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Senior Director of Global Events & Partnerships in strategically planning and executing regional field marketing programs and events in collaboration with marketing, sales, and external stakeholders.

  • Partner closely with regional Sales and Revenue teams to develop programs that drive demand generation, strengthen account engagement, and support pipeline growth.

  • Manage global events framework to ensure that initiatives and collateral developed with all departments (Sales, Community, People etc.) align to brand guidelines.

  • Create co-marketing partnerships to amplify event strategy and marketing initiatives (i.e. venue sponsorship, affinity offers, content partnership), including procuring, negotiating and managing the relationship. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop campaign-driven promotional strategies and materials to ensure alignment with program goals and consistency with brand(s).

  • Consult with local teams as needed on field marketing best practices, regional programs, and event toolkits to enable success and scalability.

  • Serve as brand marketing liaison for events and partnerships developed with cross-functional teams, ensuring that partnership marketing material and initiatives are consistent and on brand.  

  • Oversee the execution of major event, sponsorship and/or partner opportunities, complementing on-the-group teams (Community, Sales).

  • Cultivate relationships with potential vendors, providers, and partners to identify new demand generation and brand activation opportunities.

  • Analyze event and program performance metrics, working with Marketing Analytics to deliver post-event reporting tied to pipeline influence, engagement, and business impact.

  • Lead/participate in marketing team meetings, sales training sessions, company meetings, and industry events as needed. 

Appealing candidates will:
  • Have 6+ years of experience in marketing events, field marketing, or demand generation roles.

  • Demonstrated experience working closely with Sales teams to drive pipeline through regional marketing programs and events.

  • Experience in managing cross-functional initiatives, overseeing a budget and reporting on results.

  • Experience in event production and stakeholder management.

  • Excellent project management, time management and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and travel as needed.

  • Be an outstanding team player, embodying the WeWork spirit and values.

  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects quickly.
