You will influence portfolio outcomes by delivering differentiated insights, collaborating closely with experienced investment professionals, and presenting investment recommendations. This role offers meaningful exposure, ownership, and professional growth within a leading global asset manager.

How you’ll spend your time…
•    Conduct fundamental bottom-up equity research and industry analysis to identify attractive European small-cap investment opportunities.
•    Generate investment ideas through independent research, market intelligence, internal collaboration, and engagement with management teams, competitors, suppliers, industry experts, and sell-side analysts.
•    Lead company meetings, documenting insights and key investment considerations for the team.
•    Perform financial modelling, valuation analysis, and due diligence to develop and present high-conviction investment recommendations.
•    Prepare stock and sector review materials that support portfolio decision-making and investment discussions.
•    Travel across Europe to meet companies, attend conferences, and conduct on-site research and due diligence.

To be successful in this role you will have…
•    Experience in equity research, stock picking, or investment analysis, ideally within European equity markets.
•    Experience in analysing small-cap or mid-cap companies is preferred.
•    Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
•    Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills with the ability to assess investment opportunities rigorously.
•    Knowledge of Bloomberg and Microsoft Office applications.
•    Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to deliver clear, high-conviction investment recommendations.
•    Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
•    Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, handle information efficiently, and maintain a diligent work ethic.
•    Data analytics and Artificial Intelligence skills are preferred.
