European Channel Enterprise Support
London based (hybrid working)
Overview:
The aim of the Channel Enterprise team is to bring together key components of Knowledge, Service, and Support for our Sales Teams and our Dealer Community to ensure fluidity, efficiency & effectiveness when dealing with CBS, thus making it as easy as possible to do business with us day to day.
Considering this, the dual responsibility role presents an exciting prospect for bolstering support and fostering the expansion of our current and prospective business in the European region.
The position is divided into two segments, outlined as follows:
Sales Deployment
Sales Deployment involves furnishing the sales organization with the necessary information, content, and tools to enhance the effectiveness of CBS associates in selling. The core focus of this aspect of the role is to equip associates selling CBS products with the essential resources for effectively engaging customers throughout the entire buying process—constituting a primary objective.
The Sales Deployment aspect of the role reflects overall responsibility for a business unit bringing together different core functions such as CBS Sales Support, Insight & Technical Sales and Sales Training & Development. The mission of this diverse service umbrella is to maximise cross-cultural and cross-functional teamwork synergies to make the experience of doing business with CBS seamless resulting in long-term Channel Partner and client loyalty.
Both aspect of this role, complement each other, to deliver high level of Customer satisfaction and increased Share of Wallet through a multi-channel approach.
European Channel Development
In response to the ongoing evolution in societal dynamics and purchasing patterns, this position takes on the responsibility of formulating the distribution channel strategy for CBS in the European region. Collaborating closely with established furniture contracts and emerging channels like Retail and Technology, the role is dedicated to broadening the CBS product portfolio and enhancing both existing and new channel growth, with the main tasks including:
- Analyse new and existing markets with the aim to find and onboard new channel partners
- Develop and manage the network of existing partners based on regular reviews and core follow-up activities.
All tasks have one aim in common: To increase the CBS share of wallet within all channels.
As European Channel Enterprise Support, duties will include but not be limited to:
Related to European Channel Development:
- Support and contribute to the development of the International Channel Development Strategy, promoting strong collaboration with the CBS Channel Enterprise Director, regional partners in the Contract Furniture Channel, and the CBS Regional Sales Leaders and team.
- Establish crucial best practice standards for the CBS Distribution Channel, guiding CBS Regional Sales Leads in the implementation of these practices within their respective regions.
- Management of the CBS Key Account Dealer Review & Accreditation program, incorporating CBS Dealer Rewards to enhance sales performance in your region.
- Key contact for Key Partner milestone topics for continuous improvement.
- Lead in Commercial aspects for the development of projects related to "Dealer Tools" (e.g., pCon/dealer dashboard).
- Defining, planning, initiating, and overseeing key initiatives for CBS channels and channel partners (such as researching new markets, selecting and onboarding new channel partners, implementing sales promotions for channel partners, and conducting training and marketing activities.
- Support International Enterprise Channel Director with any strategic planning tasks
Related to Sales Deployment:
- Regional responsibility for facilitating inside selling activities, including providing product training, technical support for sales teams, channel partners, and online sales, to enhance sales activity.
- Support and maintenance of an up-to-date tender desk, in collaboration with CBS sales leadership and Marketing.
- Sponsor for continuous process improvement and development activities.
- Support of activities that drive efficient sales team performance, product training, sales training and marketing enablement.
- Providing feedback to the Marketing/Product Development team and shaping key market trends through our dealer community.
