We are looking for a Technical Lead who specialises in M365 collaboration products and services to take ownership of the strategy, architecture, and delivery of our global collaboration ecosystem. You will guide the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of services that power teamwork, knowledge sharing, and workflow automation across our global enterprise—ensuring they are secure, resilient, and aligned to business outcomes.

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Technical Strategy Lead the technical roadmap for collaboration services. Define policies for SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive (information architecture, site/Teams lifecycle, and external access), prepare the path for emerging Microsoft 365 apps (Planner, Viva, Loop, etc.), and shape Copilot readiness.

  • Collaboration Platform Ownership: Own the evolution of our collaboration platforms. Design the standardisation of provisioning (PnP/Graph-driven), implement lifecycle policies (naming, expiration, archival), and optimise user experience (navigation, search, and content services). 

  • Copilot (AI) Enablement & Safety: Lead enterprise enablement of Microsoft 365 Copilot: define readiness criteria, control data access via sensitivity labels and permissions hygiene, manage plugin/connector governance, and embed responsible AI principles (auditability, transparency, guardrails).

  • Mentoring and Governance: Provide 3rd-line expertise, guidance, and mentoring to collaboration engineers across regions. Review/approve changes and policies; ensure standards for naming, RBAC, connectors, and lifecycle, are enforced. Build engineering capability via code reviews, patterns, and enablement.

  • Documentation & Change Management: Maintain high-quality documentation—information architecture, site/Teams lifecycle patterns, sharing models, runbooks. Own the Collaboration domain in LeanIX. 

  • Emerging Technologies: Track Microsoft’s roadmap (e.g., SharePoint Premium, Graph connectors, Copilot innovations).
     

What will you bring to the role

As a EUC Technical Lead, you will have a deep expertise in collaboration technologies and has operated at a senior engineer or technical specialist level in previous roles. 

We’re looking for someone who has an innovative mindset, a user-centric approach and excellent leadership skills; you will be supportive, empowering and a person who can mentor. 

Key skills required: 

  • Expert-Level Collaboration Knowledge: Extensive experience designing and deploying SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive at enterprise scale (information architecture, SharePoint site / Teams provisioning, lifecycle, external sharing, permissions models). 

  • Security & Compliance Expertise: Strong command of Microsoft Purview (retention/records, sensitivity labels, DLP, eDiscovery Standard/Premium), external collaboration governance (B2B guests, cross-tenant access), and auditing. Understands data residency and regulatory drivers (e.g., GDPR).

  • Automation and Scripting: Advanced PowerShell (incl. PnP PowerShell), Microsoft Graph, and CLI for Microsoft 365. Experience building. DevOps CI/CD pipelines are desirable.

  • Migrations & Consolidations: Led large scale migrations across SharePoint / OneDrive / Teams.
