Role OverviewThe ETF Capital Markets Analyst role within the ETF Capital Markets Group in Europe will support the commercialization and expansion of strategic relationships across authorized participants (APs), market makers, banks, and exchanges. Based in London, this role will play a key part in driving engagement, supporting revenue growth initiatives, and enhancing the effectiveness of our external partnerships across the European ETF ecosystem. The individual will work closely with senior members of Capital Markets, Distribution, and Product teams to translate relationships into tangible commercial outcomes while supporting the broader growth of the State Street ETF platform.Key Responsibilities
  • Support the commercialization of relationships with APs, market makers, broker-dealers, and exchanges
  • Expand coverage and deepen engagement across the AP, market maker, bank, and exchange landscape to drive broader participation and support of State Street ETFs
  • Assist in raising and coordinating seed capital commitments from APs and strategic partners to support new ETF launches
  • Influence adoption and usage of State Street ETFs across delta-one trading desks, structuring teams, and derivatives platforms
  • Assist in identifying and developing new business opportunities across trading, liquidity provision, and distribution channels in partnership with the street
  • Coordinate and support engagement with external partners, including preparation of materials, follow-ups, and ongoing relationship management
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives focused on improving market quality and trading efficiency of ETFs alongside market making partners
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (Capital Markets, Distribution, Product) to align commercial efforts with broader ETF growth objectives
  • Develop and maintain tracking of business development pipeline, opportunities, and partnership activity
  • Help produce market and flow insights, analysis, and presentations for both internal and external audiences
Strategic ImpactThis role will support the continued growth of State Street’s ETF Capital Markets capabilities by helping to translate strategic relationships into measurable business outcomes. It will play an important role in expanding partner coverage across APs, market makers, and exchanges, supporting ETF launches through seed capital coordination, increasing adoption of State Street products across institutional trading and structuring desks, and enhancing the commercial impact of key partnerships. The role will also strengthen connectivity between external partners and internal teams, contributing to the scalability and effectiveness of the firm’s Capital Markets platform in Europe.Qualifications
  • Experience in financial markets, ETFs, trading, capital markets, or sales support roles preferred
  • Strong understanding of ETF ecosystem and market structure is a plus
  • Familiarity with derivatives, delta-one products, or structured solutions is advantageous
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Analytical mindset with ability to synthesize data into actionable insights
  • Proactive, collaborative, and commercially oriented approach
