Group Details

Tradeweb is looking to hire a Salesperson to join its London based Equities Product Management Team with the primary responsibility of selling the Tradeweb Equities Product Suite which comprises of ETFs, Single Stocks, Options/Futures and Convertible Bond platform. 

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing a sales pipeline, building relationships with current and new contacts within existing accounts, helping to drive through new opportunities. The candidate should also have excellent interpersonal skills, a flexible working style suited to building relationships with a range of clients across Europe (frequent travel will be required), and the initiative to identify and pursue opportunities. A solid understanding of the ETF landscape is strongly preferred, in addition to knowledge of how the products are traded electronically in the Dealer to Client (D2C) environment.  Existing knowledge or awareness of the Tradeweb system is a plus. 

We are looking for a self-starter who is opportunistic about sales prospects and who can work closely with a cohesive team, with the goal of maximizing growth and opportunities within the business.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the rest of the equities product and sales team to contribute to the sales pipeline, developing a thorough understanding of key drivers, priorities and different product / regional sales strategies. 
  • Assist with the running of client reports, internal marketing documents, as well as external communications to share with our existing and prospective customer base.
  • Ensure existing customers are met with excellent response time and fast troubleshooting on any incoming inquiries.
  • Build and develop key relationships both internally and with the European buy-side customer base, establishing yourself as a ‘go to’ person for customer enquiries and information. 
  • Leverage relationships with wider ecosystem to further sales pipeline and stay close to market developments.
  • Help maintain Tradeweb’s position as a market leader within the Dealer to Client Fixed Income and Derivatives e-trading market, keeping up to date with market developments and competitor intelligence to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Represent the firm at conferences and in various other external client-facing opportunities, including travelling to client sites directly.
  • Prospect directly for new business using various channels to identify new opportunities.
  • Servicing existing clients in a prompt and efficient manner.

Qualifications

  • Ability to drive and execute a sales strategy
  • Understanding of the Equities product markets
  • Commercially astute and a strong negotiator
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Commitment to achieving high standards
  • Team-player; effective communicator
  • Good understanding of electronic trading/e-commerce 
  • Multilingual is desirable
  • 2-5 years experience, ideally related to Equities markets or electronic trading
