Why This Role Matters

As a Mechanical Equipment Engineer, you will support manufacturing processes and product quality by applying Goodyear standards and technical solutions. You will ensure the stability and performance of machinery, tooling, and equipment while driving process improvements and supporting new product deployment.

What You’ll Do

  • Apply technical and quality engineering tools to improve product and process performance
  • Lead and coordinate process and tooling improvements in compliance with quality standards
  • Maintain and optimize machinery, molds, tooling, and equipment to support daily operations
  • Manage relationships with internal and external customers and mold vendors
  • Develop technical specifications and drawings for tooling and equipment standardization
  • Analyze process performance indicators and trends to identify and implement improvements
  • Utilize 2D/3D design software and plant optimization methods to support operational excellence

What You’ll Bring

Basic Qualifications

  • VI/VII degree in Mechanical or Technological Engineering
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • English language skills
  • Team-oriented, collaborative mindset
  • Adaptability, patience, and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant work experience in industrial manufacturing or tooling considered a strong advantage
  • Experience with mold shop operations, tooling retrofits, or process/equipment improvements
  • Familiarity with 2D/3D CAD software
  • Ability to coordinate projects and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
