About The Role:

We’re looking for a seasoned Engineering Group Manager & Entrepreneur to lead this ambitious initiative and turn ideas into reality. You will drive the engineering strategy and roadmap, manage multiple teams and top talent engineering managers to deliver business plans and make a significant impact on one of the largest industries in the world.

As the Engineering Group Manager and Entrepreneur, you will be responsible for building a new product line from the ground up, spearheading both the engineering and strategic efforts. You will work closely with product, design, and business teams to define the vision and take this startup from concept to launch.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit top talent, provide mentorship, build effective processes, and cultivate a strong engineering culture.
  • Address technical challenges across the company with creative and effective solutions.
  • Oversee technical projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Act as both a technical leader and a people manager.
  • Set clear expectations and provide context to promote accountability and ownership.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and developers to execute our roadmap, and maintain ongoing communication with client-facing teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in management roles, specifically managing engineering groups and scaling teams.
  • Focused on creating high-impact products that meet user needs and drive business success. Passionate about developing top-tier products and fostering a strong engineering culture.
  • Skilled in scaling teams, nurturing talent, and managing fast-paced hiring processes.
  • Experienced with complex software architectures, especially in high-concurrency and scalable web and SaaS environments.
  • Capable of breaking down complex requirements into actionable tasks.
  • Able to convey messages in a clear, structured, and purposeful manner.
  • Strong communication skills, empathetic, and excels in a fast-paced work environment.
