Job Description

As an Enterprise Account Executive within Experian Data Quality (EDQ), you will grow some of our most important enterprise accounts and securing high-value, complex software engagements.

This is a senior individual contributor role for an accomplished enterprise software or SaaS sales professional. Reporting into the Head of Direct Sales, you will manage a defined portfolio of UK&I enterprise accounts. You will develop a detailed understanding of each customer's priorities, technology landscape and data strategy to identify opportunities where EDQ's solutions provide value.

You will lead the end-to-end sales cycle, from opportunity creation and executive engagement through discovery, solution development, technical evaluation, commercial negotiation and close.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of important enterprise accounts, with accountability for revenue performance and long-term account development.
  • Develop strategic account plans, identifying customer priorities, whitespace, key stakeholders and opportunities for growth.
  • Originate, develop and close high-value, complex software opportunities.
  • Build credible relationships with senior decision-makers and influencers across multiple departments.
  • Lead consultative discovery, connecting customer challenges and priorities to EDQ solutions.
  • Lead opportunities across the EDQ portfolio.
  • Navigate complex buying processes involving technical evaluation, business cases, information security, legal, procurement and commercial negotiation.
  • Develop compelling commercial propositions and business cases that promote value and return on investment.
  • Build comprehensive partner maps within enterprise accounts and develop relationships across multiple teams and levels.
  • Lead deal teams, working with Pre-Sales, Professional Services, Product, Customer Success, Legal, Commercial and other specialist teams.
  • Use relationships across the wider Experian organisation to identify opportunities for EDQ.
  • Maintain a high-quality pipeline, with opportunity management, clear next steps and accurate forecasting.
  • Maintain a understanding of the enterprise software and data intelligence market, EDQ's capabilities and the competitive landscape.

Qualifications

  • Experience selling enterprise software or SaaS solutions, with direct responsibility for managing and closing software sales.
  • Experience achieving challenging revenue targets.
  • Experience selling data quality, data intelligence, analytics, enterprise data platforms or related software solutions would be advantageous.
  • Experience closing high-value, complex enterprise software deals involving lengthy sales cycles and multiple partners.
  • Practical experience using MEDDPICC or a comparable enterprise sales methodology.
  • Experience developing and expanding large strategic or enterprise accounts.
  • Engage with senior business and technology decision-makers.
  • Experience navigating technical evaluations and complex procurement, legal, information security and commercial processes.
  • Excellent commercial judgement and negotiation skills.
  • Coordinate teams throughout complex sales engagements.
  • Excellent opportunity management, qualification and forecasting discipline.
