Mission Statement & Summary
As a mid-level UI (React) Engineer at NewDay, you’ll build and improve React‑based applications that support our digital platforms and internal users, with a real focus on delivering value and quality. You’ll take ownership of features end‑to‑end, working in a modern Azure environment and contributing to continuous delivery as we move towards a full CI/CD model.
You’ll join a collaborative, high‑calibre engineering team where learning, quality, and impact matter. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills, work closely with senior engineers, and make a tangible difference.
How you’ll contribute
Design, develop and test high‑quality, scalable user interfaces using React
Translate product requirements and designs into clean, efficient, and reusable code
Build modular, testable components and front‑end architectures
Collaborate closely with Product Owners to deliver user‑focused solutions
We're looking for these essential skills
A minimum 2 years of experience in React
Experience with GraphQL
Experience in distributed version control systems (e.g. Git).
Experience in testing your own products
It’s a plus if you have these skills
Experience developing with Typescript
Experience writing automated tests using Cypress
Experience in FinTech
