As an Engagement Manager, you will partner closely with internal teams including Sales, Product, and Engineering to address customer needs, drive adoption, and facilitate meaningful outcomes through strategic consultations, success planning, and targeted support. At Profound, you will serve as an expert guiding customers through the future of search, sharing best practices and actionable tactics to enhance their AI visibility.

What you’ll do
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for customers ranging from enterprises to startups within marketing and search organizations

  • Conduct regular strategic business reviews, proactively identifying opportunities and addressing risks

  • Deeply understand customer objectives and proactively manage relationships with key stakeholders across marketing, operations, product, and executive teams

  • Effectively multi-thread customer engagements to mitigate risk from stakeholder turnover

  • Collaborate internally with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to optimize customer implementation and resolve technical challenges

Who you are
  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in startups working in a customer success or account management role, or more than 4 years of overall experience

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to deliver presentations and demonstrations effectively

  • Self-motivated and driven, with a passion for building strong customer relationships

  • Willing to dive in head first in the face of challenges and ambiguity

  • Strong analytical mindset and comfort working with numbers

  • Ability to own a process end to end

  • Comfortable managing multiple initiatives simultaneously

  • Experience in the search or marketing industry

Location

This is an on-site role based in London, designed for builders who thrive on speed, iteration, and meaningful impact.
