What you’ll do

Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Lead the development and delivery of a clear, insight-led colleague engagement strategy aligned to M&S behaviours and transformation goals. 
  • Own and evolve our colleague listening approach, including surveys and listening sessions across all levels of the organisation, ensuring colleague voice is understood and acted upon. 
  • Translate engagement data, trends and feedback into clear insight, practical recommendations and prioritised actions for business areas and senior leaders. 
  • Work collaboratively with People Partnering teams, COEs, People Hub, Business Involvement Group, Internal Communications and external survey providers to bring engagement plans to life. 
  • Build leadership capability by helping leaders understand engagement insight, take meaningful action and keep local action plans relevant, visible and impactful. 

Who you are

Your skills will include:

  • A strategic problem solver who can turn data, feedback and insight into clear stories, recommendations and action. 
  • Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to make complex insight simple, engaging and actionable. 
  • Strong business partner management and influencing skills, including confidence working with senior leaders and Exec-level partners. 
  • A strong understanding of engagement, culture, organisational effectiveness and change, ideally within a fast-paced retail or customer-led environment. 
  • Strong project management skills, attention to detail and confidence working with tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and communications sites.
