We're looking for an End User Support Analyst to join our Service Support team, helping to deliver a high-quality IT support service across Howdens.

As part of a collaborative and fast-paced team, you'll provide both remote and on-site support for end user technology across the business. From laptops and mobile devices to systems supporting our manufacturing, warehousing, and transport operations, you'll play a key role in keeping our colleagues connected and productive.

What you’ll be doing

  • Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices and associated technology.
  • Respond to and resolve incidents and service requests in a professional and timely manner.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring users receive the support they need.
  • Support users across office, manufacturing, warehouse and transport environments.
  • Assist with device builds, deployments, upgrades and refresh programmes.
  • Support the management of end user device security and compliance standards.
  • Work closely with Service Desk, Service Delivery and Infrastructure teams to deliver effective solutions.
  • Support technology projects and implementation activities.
  • Maintain accurate asset, hardware and software records.
  • Contribute to continuous service improvements and the reduction of recurring technical issues

This role is based from our Howden office, with occasional travel to other business locations when required.

What we need from you

We're looking for someone with strong technical troubleshooting skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a genuine passion for technology.

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in an IT support, End User Support, Service Desk or Desktop Support environment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • The ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Experience supporting Windows devices, laptops, mobile technology and Microsoft applications.
  • A proactive and organised approach to managing incidents and service requests.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels.
  • A willingness to travel occasionally to support business locations.
  • A full driving licence would be advantageous.

Experience with technologies such as Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure AD, Intune, endpoint management tools, and mobile device management solutions would be beneficial.
