Programme Essentials
To join one of our 12-month Internships you must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Currently be an undergraduate studying at University and applying for a Placement year in your 2nd or final year
  • Graduating from your undergraduate degree in Summer 2025
  • Looking for employment after completing A-Levels or equivalent course or an Apprenticeship

  • In addition, you must be eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship from Monday 30th June 2025 - Friday 17th July 2026

    What will I be doing?
    You will work as part of NBCUniversal's international Employment and Labour Law team. In particular, you will work closely with the international Employment Law and Fair Employment Practices (FEP) teams, based in London. You will gain a unique insight supporting NBCUniversal's varied portfolio of businesses, including our corporate teams, News teams, and Film & TV productions.
    With the Employment Law team, you will work with specialist labour and employment lawyers advising on issues in the UK, EMEA, and APAC, and working on an amazing variety of legal issues across the exciting and varied portfolio of businesses.
    With the FEP team you will work on coordinating Respect in the Workplace training across the UK and EMEA and conducting and documenting investigations into workplace concerns raised by staff.
    What will I learn from this opportunity?
    You will gain an invaluable insight into how NBCUniversal approaches diversity, equality, and inclusivity and how we empower colleagues to voice concerns so that we can investigate and effect real change within our businesses and on Film & TV productions.
    This internship will enhance your employment legal knowledge and skills and provide you with insight and practical experience of the fast-paced world of media and entertainment.

    • An interest in employment law, diversity and equality, and creating an inclusive workplace culture
    • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
    • An appreciation of the importance of confidentiality and discretion
    • The ability to manage and prioritise, meet deadlines, and undertake various administrative duties at once
    • Curiosity and enthusiasm with a drive to get involved and voice ideas
    • A willingness to collaborate and work as part of a team
