As a Pre-Sales Consultant, your primary focus will be to help drive revenue growth through new client acquisition as well as through expansion within our existing client base. A key measurement of success will be the team’s ability to achieve regional sales targets.

In support of our sales cycles, you will help configure and maintain demo solutions, draft demo story boards and other collateral, provide product expertise, assist with RFx responses, contribute to account and opportunity strategy definition, and, of course, deliver persuasive, highly impactful demonstrations that illustrate Shibumi’s capabilities, business benefits, and alignment to client business requirements!

Once an opportunity is closed, you will communicate the client requirements and expectations to the Delivery Services team to ensure a healthy transition from pre- to post-sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Solution Expertise: Build core knowledge in Shibumi’s platform and solutions.
  • Demo Development & Maintenance: Configure and maintain compelling demonstrations that clearly illustrate Shibumi’s capabilities and business benefits
  • Demo Delivery: Deliver
    charismatic, enthusiastic, compelling, and professional demonstrations of Shibumi solutions
  • Pre-Sales Process:Evolve existing and define new pre-sales best practices and methodologies to support sales success.
  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the sales team to build opportunity strategies & account plans that align solution capabilities to client business requirements.
  • Business Discovery: Guide prospects to share their business challenges and pain points, required solution capabilities, and use cases.
  • Story Telling: Consultative approach to provide technical expertise for the solution and implementation engagement best practices
  • RFx Responses:Lead the cross-functional team to respond to RFIs/RFPs during the sales cycle.
  • Teamwork: Partner and collaborate with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Delivery Services to identify ways to strengthen our messaging, sales execution & value proposition.
  • Prospecting: Collaborate with the business development & sales team to create account-specific messages and engage in marketing events to drive leads.
  • Market Needs:Provide inputs to the product team and inform product strategy by sharing requirements, needs, and specific use cases identified by prospects and customers.
  • Executive Presence: Prepare and deliver presentations to all customer stakeholders including the C-suite.

Desired Qualifications

  • 5+ years current experience as a Pre-Sales Consultant within the SaaS technology industry.
  • Proven experience in supporting success in B2B Enterprise Sales.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, multi-lingual a plus.
  • Good listening skills with ability to quickly understand the needs of a prospective client and then position the solution appropriately to meet those needs.
  • Demonstrated technical and/or functional aptitude to ensure quick progression through the Shibumi product learning curve
  • Consultative technical pre-sales experience.
  • Self-starter with the ability to demonstrate self-motivation to improve knowledge and skills through personal research and development.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with discipline, focus and collaborative working style with remote colleagues across locations and time zones.
  • Ability to work to set deadlines, manage and prioritize time when supporting multiple sales opportunities.
  • A team player with proven ability to take initiative and individual responsibility.
  • Well-structured, organized and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelors’ degree or greater.
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time.
