As an Executive Director or Managing Director within the Capital Goods Equity Research team, you will be at the helm of a diverse and seasoned team based in London. Your role will involve formulating and implementing strategies for a highly-ranked sector franchise, producing insightful reports for institutional clients. This dynamic role demands robust client relationships, effective team leadership, and a fervor for the Capital Goods sector. Your capacity to manage time and adhere to stringent deadlines is crucial.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Capital Goods Research team, developing and executing strategic initiatives.
  • Create and deliver industry-leading company, sector, and thematic reports.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships across institutional clients.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and industry databases.
  • Lead a consistent analytical approach within the team.
  • Communicate complex issues clearly and concisely to colleagues and clients.
  • Manage time effectively and adhere to tight deadlines.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Sales Trading, and Trading teams globally.
  • Leverage insights and relationships for internal stakeholders.
  • Mentor and develop team members, valuing individual expertise.
  • Stay updated on market developments and industry trends.

This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
