EMEA Account DIrector

Position Overview

JLL is seeking an exceptional Account Lead to oversee and drive the strategic delivery of integrated facility management services in EMEA, for one of our flagship global accounts..

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Provide strategic direction and operational oversight for the EMEA account, ensuring seamless delivery of IFM and Small Projects services across the portfolio
  • Drive growth strategy initiatives including improved small project work delivery and enhanced IFM delivery
  • Champion innovation through AI-driven decision making and new technology adoption across the account

Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of approximately 250 EMEA-based professionals
  • Address resourcing challenges and implement effective staff retention strategies across multiple markets
  • Foster a culture of excellence, consistency, and continuous improvement in service delivery
  • Build organisational capability through process training and development initiatives

Financial & Operational Excellence

  • Demonstrate exceptional financial acumen in managing account P&L, budgets, and forecasting for this high-value portfolio
  • Ensure robust reporting mechanisms, KPI governance, and performance measurement frameworks
  • Drive operational consistency across service delivery touchpoints throughout the EMEA region
  • Manage risk mitigation strategies and ensure contractual compliance across all sites

Client Relationship & Growth

  • Serve as the primary executive relationship owner with the client EMEA senior leadership team
  • Identify and execute growth opportunities

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • Minimum 10+ years progressive experience in facility management, corporate real estate, or related industries
  • Proven track record leading large-scale, complex, multi-country accounts
  • Demonstrated success managing large teams across multiple geographies
  • Extensive experience with integrated facility management and project delivery
  • Strong background in Workplace Experience strategy and delivery

Financial & Business Acumen

  • Advanced financial management skills with demonstrated expertise in P&L ownership, budget management, and commercial negotiations
  • Strong understanding of contract structures, pricing models, and risk/reward frameworks
  • Experience managing accounts with significant financial complexity and multi-year commitments

Leadership Competencies & Personal Attributes

  • Exceptional gravitas and executive presence with ability to influence and command respect amongst senior client stakeholders
  • Mature, measured approach to complex challenges, demonstrating composure under pressure
  • Solution-driven mindset with proven ability to navigate obstacles and deliver pragmatic outcomes
  • Diplomatic and politically astute, skilled at building consensus and managing sensitive situations
  • Expert stakeholder management capabilities across multiple internal and external constituencies, including client executives, regional teams, vendors, and JLL leadership
  • Proven change management and transformation leadership skills
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to navigate complex, matrixed organizations across EMEA

Technical Skills

  • Deep knowledge of workplace services, IFM operations, and small projects delivery
  • Familiarity with technology-enabled workplace solutions and data-driven decision making
  • Understanding of sustainability, ESG, and workplace innovation trends
