We’re looking for a results-driven Email Marketing and CRM Specialist. This role will focus on automating email workflows, enhancing customer engagement via segmentation, and ensuring timely, relevant messaging across our touchpoints. Ultimately, your role will help improve customer retention and lifetime value.
The team
You’ll be joining the Content team, which consists of 3 team members who focus on content, email, and product marketing.
The Content team is part of the Marketing department, which consists of multiple teams focused on driving platform growth through omnichannel marketing and rapid experimentation. The teams are responsible for various domains: Content Marketing, SEO, Paid Advertising, PR, Strategic Partnerships, Email Marketing & CRM, and Product Marketing.
Your role and impact
As an Email Marketing and CRM Specialist, you will drive user activation, engagement, and revenue. You’ll ensure customers receive relevant messages throughout their journey, persuading them to move through the different lifecycle stages. Your primary focus will be email marketing, with additional marketing touchpoints, including push notifications and in-app messages.
- Create and optimise automated workflows for email, SMS, push notifications, in-app messages, and other CRM tools we use, ensuring relevant messages reach tenants and landlords based on their lifecycle stage.
- Leverage various activation channels to drive an increase in average property views per user in order to positively impact the fill rate.
- Initiate and manage stand-alone email campaigns.
- Develop and implement segmentation strategies and personalized content strategies to improve engagement and conversions.
- Write and test email copy & headlines to maximize open rates and CTRs.
- Conduct A/B testing.
- Own and maintain the database of contactable customers, ensuring email deliverability and compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and best practices.
- Track, measure, and report on key metrics.
- Leverage data insights to refine segmentation, personalization, and campaign effectiveness.
- Be the owner of Marketing activities in our CRM and the stakeholder for marketing emails across the business.
Your profile
- 3+ years of experience in email marketing, lifecycle marketing, or CRM.
- Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms, such as Hubspot.
- Strong understanding of customer segmentation, automation, and retention workflows.
- Ability to interpret data, generate insights, and optimise campaigns using tools such as Mixpanel.
- Knowledge of email best practices, A/B testing, and deliverability.
- Strong English copywriting and creative skills. Other languages are a plus.
- Experience with multi-channel marketing (SMS, push notifications, in-app messaging) is a plus.
- Background in online marketplaces or classifieds is an advantage.
