As an Electronic Engineer, you will play a key role in developing next-generation downhole electronics and enabling breakthrough technologies for wireline operations. You will work at the intersection of hardware design, system integration, and real-world field challenges—delivering robust solutions that operate in some of the harshest environments in the industry.

  • Executing, with guidance from senior engineers, the design, analysis, integration, and testing of downhole electronic systems supporting wireline tools, ensuring alignment with product requirements and business standards.
  • Contributing to the development of electronic subsystems (telemetry, sensors, power modules), working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and reliable solutions.
  • Performing analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause investigations to improve tool performance, reliability, and field readiness.
  • Supporting testing, qualification, and validation activities, including preparation of test procedures, execution, and interpretation of results.
  • Documenting, analysing, and communicating technical data, findings, and recommendations to internal stakeholders through clear reports and presentations.
  • Collaborating across engineering disciplines to ensure system integration and alignment with overall tool architecture.
  • Maintaining accurate and structured engineering documentation in line with company policies, standards, and quality requirements.
  • Promoting knowledge sharing and open technical dialogue within the team to enhance collaboration and accelerate learning.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  • Have 0 to 5 years of experience.
  • Have demonstrated capability in electronic design and development (e.g. through professional experience, internships, or self-directed projects)
  • Have Basic knowledge of:
    • Analog/digital electronics, sensors, and signal conditioning
    • Power systems
    • Electronic schematics and circuit design
    • Knowledge of Python, Matlab or other programming language
  • Have Exposure to high-temperature / harsh environment electronics is a plus.
  • Have Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
  • Have Ability to work in cross-functional engineering teams
  • Have Good communication and technical documentation skills
