About the Role:

This role sits within Omnicom UK's central team, where we've built extensive expertise in commerce disciplines like DTC, Retail Media, Amazon, and social commerce. The focus of this role will be on providing eCommerce excellence to our Direct to Consumer (D2C) clients’ brands on their brand.com websites, improve the shopper journey, and enhance their discoverability to improve conversion. 

 

This is an incredibly exciting and varied role that is unique to the industry, and will allow you to get straight to the heart of the strategic eCommerce problems facing some of the world’s biggest brands as part of the world’s biggest media agency.

Specific responsibilities include:  

  • Auditing a client’s DTC website and shopper journey, including (but not limited to) CX/UX, heuristics, merchandising and taxonomy, site analytics, user journey analysis. 
  • Auditing and optimising clients’ product feeds to improve paid search and social Shopping ad performance. 
  • Auditing of client’s operational and fulfilment setups both for DTC and retailers e.g. Amazon 
  • Using a suite of digital marketing and eCommerce tools, along with Microsoft Excel, to conduct quantitative and qualitive analysis to draw insights and recommendations for clients, across full-funnel DTC performance. 
  • Supporting wider team culture and growth, with opportunities to contribute to thought leadership, agency development, DEI&B, sustainability initiatives etc.  

 

About you 

 

Essential: 

  • Willingness and desire to learn – eCommerce is a rapidly evolving and growing space, and we’re looking for someone with real appetite to continue to develop their own knowledge with our continued support  
  • Strong data analysis skillsyou should possess strong Excel skills and be able to interpret, manipulate and analyse multiple data sources at once to draw key themes 
  • Proficient in Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics – good knowledge of at least one of these platforms is key. You should be comfortable with the data availability, where to find it and how to use it to draw key insights and recommendations across a client’s website 
  • Be familiar with PPC fundamentals – it is key that you possess a good foundational knowledge of best practice in PPC, and the role it can play in a broader media and marketing strategy. Activation experience would be beneficial but is not essential. 
  • Experienced communicator and collaborator – you will be a confident communicator, able to present key outputs to your wider team, both written and verbal. 
  • Strong organisational skills – you may be across a number of client workstreams at any one time, so it is imperative that you are able to effectively manage your time and schedule to achieve the required outputs. 

Nice to have: 

  • eCommerce platform knowledge - any broader knowledge of eCommerce, such as eRetail, eRetail platforms e.g. Criteo, N360, Tesco Media, or marketplaces e.g. Amazon is a plus, but not essential prerequisite for this role. 
  • Wider digital media and web design knowledge – any broader knowledge of non-biddable media channels such as SEO, organic social, and affiliates, or experience reviewing UX, heuristics and accessibility would be a plus but is not an essential prerequisite.
