  • Identify and lead internal strategic initiatives that grow the consulting practice.
  • Drive the evolution of an AI-first delivery and engineering methodology within the practice.

Client advisory and delivery

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to client leadership. Guide customers and colleagues in rationalising and deploying emerging technologies and enterprise AI architecture that increase business value.
  • Act as the primary authority on Marketing Cloud and Data 360, including how data and engagement architecture drive the success of Agentforce and AI-driven personalisation.
  • Lead functional and technical workshops. Own the design, delivery, testing and deployment of complex marketing and data solutions.
  • Establish trust with customer executives. Promote and implement Salesforce best practices.
  • Manage customer expectations. Negotiate solutions to complex problems with customers and third-party stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify and manage risk on high-profile engagements. Commit to seeing issues through to resolution.
  • Review and correct programme direction, approach and key artefacts (blueprints, FSDs, data models, journey and flow designs) to keep programmes on track and scalable.

Marketing Cloud / Data 360 Architecture

  • Design enterprise engagement architecture across Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio and Content Builder. Include channel strategy and journey orchestration.
  • Define data governance, consent management and preference architecture. Ensure compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL and other privacy regulations.
  • Set integration, environment and coding standards (SQL, SSJS, AMPscript). Lead code and design reviews.
  • Architect the Data 360 implementation: data stream ingestion, unified profile and identity resolution, segmentation, and activation to Marketing Cloud.
  • Define end-to-end data lineage: profiling, cleansing, transformation mapping and reconciliation.

Core Skills
  • Advanced Marketing Cloud expertise: Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder, Mobile and Advertising Studio, Contact Builder / Audience Builder.

  • Consent and compliance architecture: preference centre design and compliance-aligned data handling.
  • Integration architecture: Marketing Cloud Connect, REST/SOAP APIs, API-triggered and event-driven messaging, and ETL / data lake patterns.
  • Data modelling, MDM, SQL, and DevOps / deployment lifecycle.
  • Email deliverability: sender reputation, IP warm-up, and SPF/DKIM/DMARC.
  • AMPscript and SSJS proficiency.
  • Flow experience
Minimum Requirements
