As Sales Director for HCI (Honeywell Connected Industrial) Europe, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating sales growth and expanding market presence across the European industrial software market. This position requires a strategic, customer-centric leader with a deep understanding of industrial software solutions, enterprise selling, and outcome-based value creation. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, leading and developing a team of software sales professionals, and building trusted relationships with key clients and partners to drive sustainable growth.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve growth targets and expand market share across the European industrial software segment, including base, enterprise, and software offerings.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team with empathy, clarity, and accountability, providing coaching, support, and development opportunities to drive individual and team success.
  • Identify new business opportunities and build long-lasting executive-level relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive industrial software revenue growth and meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with PA regional sales teams, marketing, product development, services, and aftermarket teams to align industrial software sales initiatives with customer needs and overall business goals.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, customer feedback, and emerging industrial software needs to identify opportunities for innovation, differentiation, and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reviews, reports, and presentations to senior management, using SFDC insights to provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards in all sales activities.


You Must Have: 


  • Degree in engineering, business, or a related field; MBA or equivalent leadership experience preferred.
  • 10+ years of successful B2B sales experience, with a proven track record selling industrial software, enterprise software, or complex digital transformation solutions into industrial markets.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with a proven ability to inspire, motivate, coach, and develop sales teams while creating an inclusive environment where team members feel supported, challenged, and accountable for results.
  • Deep understanding of HCI software technologies, including next-generation AI, connected operations, industrial automation, and outcome-based software solutions.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate customer challenges into measurable software outcomes, develop strategic account plans, and drive profitable growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with high empathy and the ability to listen actively, build trust, influence stakeholders, and establish strong relationships with clients and partners at all levels.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and support sales activities.

  • Familiarity with SFDC and similar sales enablement tools.
  • Experience managing teams in a matrix organization, creating alignment across functions, and developing talent through coaching, feedback, succession planning, and career development conversations.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and extract actionable insights to drive sales performance.
  • Passion for technology and innovation, with a commitment to staying current on industrial software trends, emerging AI capabilities, customer challenges, and competitive developments.
