Responsibilities

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

  • Shape and execute sales strategy: Develop and implement revenue-driving sales strategies across group, business transient, leisure transient, and catering segments, aligned with the hotel’s commercial goals and strategic plan
  • Drive revenue performance and profitability: Contribute to achieving revenue targets and profitability goals by optimizing pricing, improving business mix, and guiding forecasting accuracy
  • Lead business reviews and planning: Facilitate regular strategy and performance meetings while contributing to long-range commercial planning through analysis of performance trends, market shifts, and revenue opportunities
  • Ensure commercial alignment: Collaborate with revenue and marketing leaders to align sales tactics with pricing, distribution, and promotional strategies, and to support forecasting and rate strategies
  • Foster stakeholder relationships: Engage with Hilton Worldwide Sales, Convention and Visitors Bureaus (CVBs), third-party travel partners, and key clients to drive demand, improve conversion, and support high-impact site visits and pre-convention meetings
  • Develop data-informed strategies: Track market and competitor activity to inform strategy and help maintain competitive positioning in group and transient segments
  • Cultivate a high-performing team: Recruit new talent while driving team growth and engagement through performance management, professional development, and recognition programs

Your Impact

You will be a key commercial leader, representing the Hilton Vienna Cluster both internally and externally. Your work will directly influence business outcomes and help shape the future of our hotels’ commercial success in the Austrian and international markets.

What You Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Proven experience in a Commercial or Sales Leadership role within hospitality
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Comfortable with public speaking and engaging senior-level stakeholders
  • Fluent in English, with willingness to travel

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Knowledge of the Austrian and German-speaking markets
  • Experience in multi-property or cluster hotel environments
  • Familiarity with hotel sales tools (e.g., Opera, Delphi, Salesforce)
  • Fluency in German is a strong advantage
  • Existing right to work in Austria (e.g., Red-White-Red Card Plus)
  • Current Hilton team member

Required Background

  • Completed A-Levels and diploma in Tourism Studies (or equivalent)
  • At least 2 years of experience in a Commercial/Sales leadership role
    (e.g., ADOS in a large cluster or DOS in a single property, ideally with Hilton)
