What are we looking for?

We are seeking a highly strategic and versatile Director of Sales and Partnerships to strengthen Pulse iD’s Growth team and drive expansion across the European market, based in the UK. In this role, you will take ownership of the end-to-end sales process—identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing the pipeline, and building high-impact partnerships. You will work closely with the marketing team to generate leads and support proposal development. The ideal candidate will have a proven enterprise sales track record, experience collaborating with banks and financial institutions in Europe, and a deep understanding of retail banking and the debit/credit card ecosystem. Experience with Card Management Systems (CMS) is highly desirable.

What you will be doing (Responsibilities):

  • Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships with banks, financial institutions, and telcos across key European markets.
  • Build, manage, and grow a robust sales pipeline, taking ownership of deals from lead generation through to closure, with support from the deal squad, while navigating the diverse dynamics of the European market.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within retail banking and the credit card industry across Europe.
  • Leverage your existing network and cultivate new connections across the region to accelerate pipeline growth and convert opportunities into revenue.
  • Structure, negotiate, and close complex commercial deals that align with Pulse iD's strategic objectives and meet the specific needs of European markets.
  • Analyse market trends, the competitive landscape, and customer needs across Europe to identify future growth opportunities and new revenue streams.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of regional sales plans and partnership programs to drive optimal performance and business growth.
  • Enhance business value and revenue streams from existing key partnerships in the region.
  • Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and marketing, to ensure successful partnership implementation and ongoing management tailored to European market requirements.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory developments, and the competitive landscape within the loyalty, payments, and financial technology sectors across Europe.
  • Represent Pulse iD at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events across the United Kingdom and Europe.

What you need to have (Qualifications & Experience):

  • 7–10+ years in enterprise sales, business development, or strategic partnerships within financial services, ideally across European markets.
  • Proven record of exceeding revenue targets and driving business growth.
  • Deep expertise in banking, payments, and the credit card ecosystem, including issuing, acquiring, processing, and loyalty.
  • Experience with Card Management Systems (CMS) is a strong plus.
  • Established network of key contacts across banks and financial institutions in Europe.
  • Track record in managing complex deals, building pipelines, and converting opportunities across multi-country markets.
  • Experience selling enterprise SaaS solutions and knowledge of FinTech, loyalty, and payment solutions.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, presentation, and negotiation skills, with cultural sensitivity to European markets.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment and willing to travel across Europe.

Sounds great?

We offer the following:

  • An exciting, fast-paced company with the opportunity to build meaningful solutions for the industry.
  • An opportunity to work with talented industry practitioners who support, motivate, and learn from each other.
  • An attractive remuneration package with equity options.
  • Flexible, remote working.
  • Genuine career growth possibilities.
