Job Summary

Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Product Marketing, this critical role will lead the Product Marketing strategy and execution for the EMEA region. As a key driver of Equinix's market success, you will be responsible for tailoring our digital infrastructure solutions to the unique needs of the European, Middle Eastern, and African markets, transforming complex technical capabilities into compelling business narratives that resonate with regional customers and stakeholders. 

 

Key Responsibilities

Regional Product Marketing Leadership

  • Lead and develop a high-performing Product Marketing team across EMEA

  • Drive regional marketing strategies that align with global go-to-market objectives

  • Adapt global product positioning and messaging for EMEA market nuances

  • Develop and execute region-specific content and enablement strategies

 

Customer and Market Engagement

  • Develop deep understanding of EMEA market dynamics, customer challenges, and business objectives

  • Conduct regular customer business reviews to identify growth opportunities

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key regional stakeholders

  • Facilitate customer issue resolution through cross-functional collaboration

 

Sales and Partner Enablement

  • Create EMEA-specific sales enablement materials and tools

  • Develop strategic account plans to achieve regional sales targets

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, Channel, and Alliance teams

  • Support partner marketing efforts to expand market reach

 

Product Positioning and Storytelling

  • Translate complex digital infrastructure solutions into compelling regional narratives

  • Develop thought leadership content for EMEA markets

  • Represent Equinix at regional conferences, events, and speaking engagements

  • Create customer success stories and reference materials

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Liaise with Global Product Marketing, Business Development, and regional teams

  • Ensure alignment of product vision and roadmap across EMEA

  • Utilize internal tools and data to identify growth opportunities

  • Provide regular insights and recommendations to global leadership

 

Team Development

  • Lead and develop a diverse team of Product Marketing professionals

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning

  • Support individual career development and succession planning 

  • Promote Equinix values internally and externally

 

Qualifications

  • 12-15 years of progressive Product Marketing experience

  • Proven track record of leading senior marketing team members

  • Extensive experience in digital infrastructure, data centers, or networking industries

  • Previous Product Management experience preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to create and launch new products

  • Strong international business experience, particularly in EMEA region
