Our powerful tools fuel websites to be faster, richer in user engagement, and breakthrough creativity. With a growing suite of products that support everything from developer efficiency to brand storytelling, Cloudinary is becoming the visual layer of the web.

Cloudinary has a globally distributed team across North America, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific, united by a shared commitment to building smart, scalable technology and a culture rooted in humility, curiosity, and collaboration. At Cloudinary, we celebrate Life & Work. We believe in healthy growth, working with purpose, and creating meaningful value. If you’re looking for a place where your voice matters and your work truly makes an impact, this may be the opportunity for you.

Cloudinary’s Strategy & Operations team exists to turn strategy into action ensuring the company executes with focus, speed and real impact. As we enter the next stage of Cloudinary’s growth, we’re hiring a Director of Operations who can help accelerate the work that truly matters.

In this role, you’ll support some of the company’s highest‑impact priorities from internal AI initiatives to helping teams shape, build and launch new products. You’ll gain broad exposure to senior leaders, play a central role in how decisions turn into outcomes, and make a visible impact across multiple functions.

This is an individual contributor role within a small, high‑trust team. You won’t directly own most initiatives instead, you’ll strengthen execution by clarifying goals, enabling project owners, unblocking progress and providing hands‑on support when needed. It’s ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments, builds trust quickly, and is motivated by driving tangible, business‑critical results.

Responsibilities:

  • Accelerate strategic projects
  • Support the company’s highest‑priority initiatives including AI adoption, product evolution, and growth‑critical cross‑functional programmes.
  • Bring clarity to complex or ambiguous objectives, establishing crisp goals, simple plans, and measurable outcomes.
  • Create momentum by unblocking decisions, simplifying problems, and ensuring teams stay focused on what drives impact.
  • Improve collaboration at scale
  • Align teams across Product, R&D, GTM, Finance and Operations on goals, decisions and timelines ensuring work moves with speed and cohesion.
  • Build trusted relationships quickly and become a partner teams seek out because progress is faster and clearer with you involved.
  • Facilitate the conversations that matter: surfacing trade‑offs, enabling decisions, and ensuring shared ownership from early product definition through to GTM execution.
  • What Success Looks Like
  • Teams consistently report that work moves faster, clearer, and with greater impact because of your involvement.
  • High-priority projects achieve measurable progress, not just activity.
  • Cross-functional collaboration improves less friction, better alignment, more decisive execution.
  • You become a trusted operator leaders bring in when outcomes matter and time is tight.

About you:

  • 10+ years of experience in Strategic Business Operations
  • Experience operating in growth-stage SaaS or similarly fast-moving organisations.
  • Strong grounding in structured problem-solving, consulting background welcome but not required.
  • Excellent judgement: you know when to introduce structure and when to prioritise momentum.
  • Proven ability to influence without authority and to build credibility quickly.
  • Comfortable working across multiple teams and shifting contexts at pace.
  • Clear communicator who brings focus and simplicity to complex discussions.
  • A bias for action paired with a pragmatic, low‑bureaucracy mindset.
  • Familiarity with (or willingness to adopt quickly) lightweight project management tools and operational processes, used to support clarity and coordination with minimal bureaucracy
